"In the past, trainers had to use balloons to demonstrate feeding skills,’ said infant feeding specialist Louise Stickland. Knitted breasts have been popular in the US for some time, where groups such as Knitting for Knockers make prosthetics for women hit by breast cancer."-Metro

'Have picnicked for years with a guy that has a ceramic beer mug in the shape of a breast.... you access the liquid by putting your mouth on the nipple!
No one ever drinks out of his mug by mistake and he never misplaces it...everyone knows exactly where it is!This beats the cost of buying a medically professional prosthesis for training.... but some may have allergy issues and others aren't into the use of animal products as for human use in anyway. ...
I found this out when I wanted to put hemp/wool reusable French shopping totes, I had knitted, in a vegan gourmet restaurant's gift shop under consignment!
A cute idea to promote the way nature intended human babies to get the sustainence they need. - 1 year ago
