True. ( Still basically a "TV action" character though,....they make "Star Wars" comics as well ) The characters are all derived from another genre though,....so I would still consider it an "apples to oranges" comparison to the mainstream. My understanding is that the Buffy comics are virtually the "next season that might have been" of the Buffy franchise. I don"t mind "crossover genre comics",......but they aren't mainstream "supes" American fare anymore than Marvel comics are manga. (generally)
