Rush Limbaugh Bashes GOP for not standing behind Barton

Open mouth and insert foot. Just Wish that he would leave it there. Of course if we did not have people like Rush and Beck we would not know what sever depresants looked like.

If BP had adequate safeguards in place when the explosion occurred and/or responded to their failure to have such safeguards with urgency and compassion, then the $20 billion might properly be labeled a "shakedown."

But BP has established new standards for lack of foresight, poor engineering/construction practices, inept crisis management, incompetent leadership and callous disregard for the suffering the company and its minions have caused. In light of BP's conduct to date, the $20 billion can only be characterized as an appropriate deposit against continued misconduct. I have little doubt that ANOTHER $20 billion will be necessary in the not-so-distant future but at least for now the people living and working along the gulf coast have a glimmer of hope that funding will be available to help them weather this disaster.

Obviously Rush has little or no credibility with most thinking people. His views are important only because he does have a constituency. That constituency may not be composed of the brightest stars in the sky but to the extent they vote they must be reckoned with.

Anyone remember the Martin Lawrence Show? I just heard "BARTON" in my head said like "MARTIN" in the opening sequence of the show.

I hate to say it, but I really like this guy. He makes me laugh, as do his callers. Most of them sound like paranoid yokels who get all of their info from Faux News.

I think his show should be renamed, "Everybody Hates Obama". Because it seems like somehow everything is Obama's fault.

Fact is Limbaugh is not conservative, he only gets paid to rile them up. If he stopped being an asshat he'd lose his job and he knows it. If the US went away tomorrow, they simply set up shop in China.
