    • Actual oil no, but chemicals from the oil can evaporate (which Maddow was kind enough to concede) making poison rain which is just as bad, even if it does make a less interesting video.

    • Hmmm. I tried to find a scientific article about this but there doesn't seem to be any research to confirm or dismiss these claims. I'm not really ready to call this and open/shut case until I see some extensive research. I don't think that anyone really knows the answer since I'm sure it has never before come into question. The circumstances as of late are rather unique.
