The whole Jane Austen mashup sub genre has become more than a little irritating but I have to say I found this fake trailer for Jane Austen's Fight Club to be pretty awesome. I think it's because of how skillfully the makers of the short were able to blend Chuck Palahniuk's snarky Zen-nihilism with Austen's austere aesthetics. Plus they totally nailed the casting. Check out the trailer and the original Fight Club trailer that it so carefully parodied after the jump.
