Gore Whines: 'The United States Government Has Failed Us'

You can’t always get what you want and that appears to be a bitter pill for former Vice President Al Gore to swallow.

Gore, the leader of the global warming alarmism movement, told supporters during an Aug. 10 conference call that despite his best efforts to inspire fear over this issue or else it is the end of civilization, the battle has been lost for the time being. He placed blame solely on the U.S. government, specifically the Senate, controlled by Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Nevada.

“I have a difficult task tonight,” Gore said. “I want to call you to action but I have to begin by telling you what you know, in all candor – the United States government in its entirety, largely because of the opposition in the United States Senate to taking action on clean energy and a solution to the climate crisis, has failed us.”

      we're getting close. more and more folks even in his own party are now questioning this mans junk science. other world leaders are also abandoning this sinking lying loser ship

    • Oh, so all of a sudden you agree with the Obama adminisitration and the government on something? And it figures you don't know what call to action means because you have nothing else to offer but the same lame ignorant partisan political slop.

      Classic uninformed media spin from a bunch of political hacks who one day will have to answer to their own children and grandchildren for it. Yes, the REALITY of the events happening worldwide corroborated by REAL scientists and not " FOX weathermen" and oil hacks would be hard for lazy, uninspired, selfish political partisans with an ax to grind to understand or care about. So they use the oldest media trick in the book. Target someone and keep repeating the same BS lie over and over again to keep their ratings up for all of the same ignorant hateful people who watch them. The only 'alarmism" about global warming is the awe inspiring stupidity of people like you regarding the facts surrounding it and how this Earth works. You may think you are so big because you can anonymously sit there behind your modem trashing someone who has more class and intelligence in his big toe than you have in your entire body, but it doesn't change the reality of the situation. I certainly hope one day if you have now or ever have a child they ask you why you thought it more important to waste your time putting others actually doing something for the planet down instead of doing something yourself. And don't think to come back at me with some predictable overused insult about Mr. Gore or me. I won't be responding to it.

      Yes, in the absence of actual FACTS, always divert to the talking point about , OH MY GOD HE MADE SOME MONEY! He has donated to this cause and invested in clean energy to do good for the environment as well for years. What the hell have you ever done? BTW, do you know where the BILLIONS of taxpayer dollars that were put in wheelbarrels in Iraq and just rolled away went? Do you care about that? Your rhetoric is so transparent. You don't know one fact about global warming or the Earth processes that sustain us. Just post about Al Gore the RW target to feed the haters because it makes you feel like a big man. I bet the RW media jacka**es on FOX are apoplecting in groups because their "It was cold this February!" mantra has shown them all for the uninformed ignorant hacks they all are. And the only thing leading me is ME, and the truth and reality of the world situation which we were rightfully warned about by Mr. Gore and a plethora of scientists you never even mention in your little hypocritical hate sprees. So sad all you have is the brainwashing diarrhea spewed by RW hatemongers who wouldn't know a scientific fact if it walked up and bit them on their fat butts.
