Guys just look for signs of rank,....tells of hierarchic status,....and firearms or MONEY, which is often the same thing. ( in macho and primitive settings - raw physical punishment giving prowess )

Professional male politicians and lawyers and salesmen train/condition themselves to notice and assimilate MUCH more on a conscious level !
