Miss Me Yet?...Americans Would Prefer a Third Term of Bush Over Obama

From Tom Jensen at Public Policy Polling on Tuesday: “We’ll start rolling out our Ohio poll results tomorrow but there’s one finding on the poll that pretty much sums it up: by a 50-42 margin voters there say they’d rather have George W. Bush in the White House right now than Barack Obama.” http://dailymail.com/blog.html

If you were to get outside of partisan bias, and take an in depth look at the passage of various legislation through the past 50 + years, it is and has been the 'liberal' policies that has encumbered our economic and govt stability... although both parties are to blame for being total self-serving idiots in fiscal responsibility.

Which partisan policy was it that deregulated the banks? How about the invasion of Iraq? Which partisan policy was it that deregulated the oil industry? Who shoved the PATRIOT ACT up our asses? Yea I know "Mission Accomplished!"

... and who decided to retain said 'patriot act'?.. and who has decided to curtail the development of our own oil and gas resources, causing us to be even more dependent and foreign oil?... yeah tell me all about all the 'good' you dimwitted leftist progressives have done... and not to mention how the Demoncrats manage to f**k-up your favorite altruistic program - Social Security.

      Facts:
Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social Security (FICA) Program. He promised:
1.) That participation in the Program would be completely voluntary,

      No longer Voluntary
2.) That the participants would only have to pay 1% of the first $1,400 of their annual incomes into the Program - Now 7.65% on the first $90,000

3.) That the money the participants elected to put into the Program would be deductible from their income for tax purposes each year - No longer tax deductible

4.) That the money the participants put into the independent 'Trust Fund' rather than into the general operating fund, and therefore, would
only be used to fund the Social Security Retirement Program, and no other Government program, and, Under Johnson the money was moved to The General Fund and Spent.

5.) That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed as income - Under Clinton & Gore Up to 85% of your Social Security can be Taxed.

Since many of us have paid into FICA for years and are now receiving a Social Security check every month -- and then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of the money we paid to the Federal government to 'put away' -- you may be interested in the following:
      ------------ --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- ----

Q: Which Political Party took Social Security from the independent 'Trust Fund' and put it into the general fund so that Congress could spend it?

A: It was Lyndon Johnson and the democratically controlled House and Senate.

      ------------ --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --

Q: Which Political Party eliminated the income tax deduction for Social Security (FICA) withholding?

      A: The Democratic Party.

      ------------ --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- -----

Q: Which Political Party started taxing Social Security annuities?

A: The Democratic Party, with Al Gore casting the 'tie-breaking' deciding vote as President of the Senate, while he was Vice President of the US.

      ------------ --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- -
Q: Which Political Party decided to start giving annuity payments to immigrants?

      AND MY FAVORITE:

      A: That's right!

Jimmy Carter and the Democratic Party. Immigrants moved into this country, and at age 65, began to receive Social Security payments! The
Democratic Party gave these payments to them, even though they never paid a dime into it!

      ------------ -- ------------ --------- ----- ------------ --------- ---------

... and to top it all off, what do the lying progressive left do?
After violating the original contract (FICA), the Democrats turn around and tell you that the Republicans want to take your Social Security away!

And the worst part about it is uninformed citizens believe it!

Dammmmmn! You really drank the kool-aid! The one thing republicans do well is lie about their responsibility for any of the bullshit they create. Although in fairness every politician lies. Its obvious that you believed George W. Bush and that Dick Cheney. If you can climb out from under the teabaggers for a moment you can get counseling for the dementia your opinions seem to reflect. Its part of the new Health Plan. ;)

      Exactly....
Gomer pyle = stupid white guy
      Urkle = smart black guy

you should focus on we had a stupid president, and now have a smart one.
Instead you focus on we had a white president, and now have a black one.

You get a gold start, good sense of humor. I was going to post the video, but it was removed due to a copyright claim by Associated Press. Shucks, it would have been a fitting video.

    • I would say something about "we needed better marksmen at the time",....but I really don't want the gestapo all over my ass,...so I will not say that, or anything like it. No way.

Well,...how about "Well,.....he MIGHT have been,....but they sweep that sort of thing under the carpet,....unless the story is a real hit"

O.k. Got it - - "He might have been missed, at one time". Nonthreatening,....possibly true,... ( funny ? )

Well let's take a look at that comment Congo. It wasn't any less fair and square than the 2008 election.

During the 2000 election, Bush won the electoral college without winning the popular vote. During the 2008 election Obama won the popular vote and the electoral college.

During the 2000 election, the federal supreme court stepped in, and voted along party lines to cease the recount in Florida. They voted along party lines 5 to 4, in favor of ceasing the recount.

During the 2000 election, a relative of Bush called up FOX news and told FOX that Bush was the clear winner, even though the votes were still being counted. FOX ran the story that Bush had won, and the other news stations followed suit with the story because news stations report news, and they loose viewers if they are late in reporting real news.

During the 2004 election, the company Diebold created an electronic voting machine that did not create or keep hard copies of votes, were incredibly easy to break into, lacked proper memory storage to count all of the votes in area's with heavy voter traffic, and had software built in to switch votes. The C.E.O. of Diebold openly admitted before the election that he would do everything within his power to get Bush reelected.h

During the 2004 election, the Swiftboat Vets for Justice (or whatever the fuck those lying assholes were called) slandered Kerry and his war. Many of them said that they had served with Kerry and that he was no hero, but none of them had ever served within 50 miles of Kerry. None of them said anything about Bush being A.W.O.L. for a large chunk of his career flying low tech jets stateside. When asked about the Swiftboat Vets, Bush said that they were free to say what they wanted and that he could not nor would not condemn anything that they said against his opponent.

In 2004 a judge stepped in and put in an order that all the voting material be kept until the end of a court case. Luckily for George W., Ken Blackwell was in charge of the Ohio election and George W.'s campaign. Low and behold, the ballots were 'accidentally' destroyed before they could be used as evidence.

I live in the county in question, Cuyahoga. I don't think George W. could have won had the evidence remained? 2004's Election was questionable also, but they had color codes and fear on their side. Up the terror level!!!! His own people admitted he abused the terror codes. Fear moved us along to all the wrongs. Fear, fear, fear!

I don't miss the fear I felt, while George W. was in office. I was afraid of terrorists and him. If he could start a war using fixed facts and forged documents and we all just moved along, he could do anything. George W. and his cohorts all scared the heck out of me. No one really knew what they would do next. They lied with reckless abandon.

    • I'm thinking that people don't want Bush over Obama, but instead want the economy that Bush started his presidency with over the economy that Obama started his presidency with.
