Two Tennesee Cops Fired-Caught Drinking and Having Sex in the forest

They are no longer on the county's payroll-I cant stop laughing at this.
A forest ranger came upon them on a campground site having a good ol' time, now they are both out of jobs. They are getting fined $250 for each citation. I think they should be charged more. I mean if it were regular old people out there doing it they would have been thrown in jail-had to have bonded out or make a court appearance. They should be charged for drinking on the job, being naked in public a slew of things I am sure will be wiped out with a citation or a fine. I am at this time still laughing.

    • I can't understand why they were fired. there are so many things cops do that are far worse and still on the Payroll. I bet they were not part of the old-Boys network. Give them their jobs back!!

They were off duty but were hired to work Patrol for the Forest rangers during the particular incident. I just know that had they just been off duty it may not have been as big of an issue but they were on the job at the time.

    • This is a waste of time and resources. Slap them with a suspension without pay, give them some grunt work, and move on. We don't need to be spending court costs for this BS. People should be free to do it in the woods. Where do you think people did it before there were houses???

    • Okay, I was thinking about this tonight. The article states that the ranger "saw Dennison and Adkins engage in three sex acts and then Adkins and Walsh began to fondle Dennison. "

Why did the officer sit behind a bush watching them engage in multiple sex acts over a course of time? that screams creeper at me and should qualify under the whole conduct not becoming an officer thing.

    • It also states the the forest troopers hired them to help patrol the area-so they may not have been in uniform but were hired to help look after the area they were in.
Their charges are as stated:The three were charged with possessing alcohol in a prohibited area, public nudity and public intoxication. Adkins had an additional charge of child endangerment because his 2-year-old son was asleep in a tent at the campsite.

I mean they had a 2 yr old in a car there---they were not patroling or watching the child they brought. They were hired to help patrol and were drinking and screwing in a public area its a simple open and shut case.

They weren't patroling, the article clearly states that "The event that led to the firings happened on a Friday night when the deputies were off duty". and the kid was asleep off in a tent. If we argue that people can't have sex with kids any where near by then the human race would become greatly reduced. Fine them yes, discipline them yes, but it shouldn't cost them their jobs.

The child endangerment thing is a load of pure crap. As for the sex and the drinking, any reasonable adult would've used their better judgement and let them be.

Why cheer for this sort of authoritarian invasion of personal freedom? I don't care if the victims ARE police in this case, no one should be treated like that.

    • Just because they were police? I think that behaviour is perfectly normal and should be celebrated, not punished. That ranger was an arsehole and should lose HIS job.

You guys gotta read the whole story-I am not against having fun, but when your working for the forest guys on patrol and you have a kid with you-behave like an adult not a horny teenager.

    • I mistyped sorry-what I mean is I understand they were off-duty but at the begining it states it was conduct that was unbecoming of officers. If they had done it someplace private it may have not been an issue. Also it shows that they had earlier citations for things earlier in the month so it was just the straw that broke the camels back.

    • Why were they fired? Yes they were drinking but guess what, when you go camping you drink. I can not recall a single camping experience in my entire life that did not include my parents and their friends drinking or me and my friends drinking. And so they had a three-way, this isn't the 1940's and adults have the right to sleep with eachother if they want. One of my favorite parts of camping is getting lucky.

So in conclusion, 3 adults, all off-duty, went on a camping trip, had some beers and then had sex. The article even states that when another camper shut their car door they stoped and put their clothse, so they made an effort to not scar the people in nearby camp sites. I hate defending cops but what's happening to them is BS.
