Ryder cups seems to be an event where golf is not only watchable but exciting (how did that happen) though here's one great photograph from the event:
1) excellent snapshot taken before the ball hit the Daily Mail's sport photographer
2)the man to the right with the fake cigar
"The Americans accepted that the ball had hit the intrepid photographer only because Tiger's effort, from rain-soaked rough, had been so badly struck.
For camera buffs, Pain was using a Nikon D3S camera, with a 24-70 mm lens and a shutter speed of 1/1000 of a second."-Daily Mail

Well that picture says it all and this does shout 3D if it was on Sky's new 3D channel, better than watching a waterlog clearout in 3D on day one.

That man with the cigar was a gift from the gods. Everything about him exudes novelty and supreme cool. The cigar, the 'tache, the stance, those wide eyes...
He is legend.
