I'm voting republican because our entire government needs to be privatized!

I mean we should pay every time when we get out of our driveways, I should pay before the police come to help me, I should pay before the fire department to pulls my family out of our burning house.

I am voting Republican cause I have never been out of my county (I once went to Mt. Pilot to the picture show with my church to see the "Left Behind" film marathon), only watch FOX News, was born with alcohol fetal syndrome, against abortion but I don't care about the child after its born until it is old enough to join the army and kill people that I don't understand (cause I've never set foot out of my redneck county), but mainly because I'm a moron.

Don't really have much of a choice now do we. Not because I have a lot of faith in the Republican Party but because the platform of the Democrats/liberals (hyphenated because it is not all Democrats but certainly all liberals regardless of party.) are destructive to this country. Seems that a lot of the contry agree with me in this case.

I'm voting Republican, just like I always have, because I believe accountability stands solely on the individual. I've studied enough sociology to know that social norms and behavioral influences are nothing more than frivolous assaults on individuality. Bad things happen to good people and it drives Democrats up the wall. I don't like it any more than you do, but at least I can live with it. I'll continue to vote Republican, because despite what many hard-line liberals think, I think critically, am well educated, and capable of formulating opinions based on rational thought processes and interpretation of any available facts, both bias and un-bias.

Just because we disagree doesn't make either one of us stupid. Deal with it.

You harken back to a tired argument that may have had relevance during the 90s. But no more I'm afraid. There is, I promise, a candidate somewhere in this nation running for office that supports your world view. They may not be running in your state or in your district, but somewhere there is one. And like the Tea Party has, YOU should seek that candidate out and support them. Instead of making an illogical argument that every candidate is the same. They are not. Whether your support is financial or making the ultimate pledge and volunteering for their campaign, you should become an informed voter and pledge your support. My candidate is Pennsylvania's Senate candidate Sestack. I've been to PA once, but Sestack is a common sense progressive that I can get behind. He's in a hotly contested race against a hardline right winger. The middle has been largely ceded this election cycle. Try thinking outside the box...

I hope you dont think voting for democratic is any better. Choosing a democrat or a republican is like choosing a child rapist or a murdered. You lose either way. We are losing more freedoms every election. I mean sure we will always have disagreements but like Voltaire had said, "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." everything has become a great illusion and it seems majority of americans dont even care anymore. They would rather have other people tell them what to do while they watch Jersey Shore and all the other "reality TV shows"

The world hates the United States for voting Republican. There is a reason for that. While Democrats may have participated in wars that have gone on for too long most all of the wars in recent memory have been provoked by Republicans. Actions under Democratic administrations, such as in Kosovo had a clear purpose, and could be seen as humanitarian.

Just look at where science has brought us......... it has allwed us to mass communicate, cure diseases, fly to the moon, explore the universe, develop infrastructure, lower our infant death rate, allow us to drive cars and even create things we love like guns.

None of us should vote for Republicans... or Democrats for that matter. We should for the person up for candidacy, not their party. Wasn't part of the Tea Party movement's aim to make sure that candidates actually represented true conservative values? More than electability, many have chosen their candidates based on their principles, not their electability.

Regardless of the merits (or lack thereof) of the actual candidates, I think it is admirable that they have actually chosen 'quality' over quantity. Perhaps it is a lesson Democrats should learn... lest we find our majorities in the Congress mean nothing when our candidates are Democrats in name only, and conservatives in their voting records.

Why haven't we seen a similar revolt for the soul of the Democratic Party? Why hasn't there been a revolt to try to install true progressive liberal candidates? We are making fun of the Republicans, when we should be emulating them and choosing candidates who are truly Liberals, not selling out our principles simply because it makes our candidates more electable.

That is why the Democrats are in the situation they are in today, and why the Republicans are so energized and excited about their candidates.

I'm voting republican because I only want to make the rich richer, it doesent matter if my job is exported to India or China............I'll just have to pull myself up by the bootstraps and settle for making $8.25/hr because I know corporations care more for my best interests than the government.

I'm not a fan of the current political system.

I want a democracy, not a republic. The government should cut military spending in order to ensure all citizens have access to the internet for the purpose of education as well as the ability to keep up with current events and give feedback to the govt. on current political issues. We could actually have the opportunity to vote on specific issues. Politics and national movements would be more seamless and organic.

I want my voice to be heard on each issue I feel passionately about. I'm tired of voting for "SET A" of ideas or "SET B" of ideas every 4 years only to be lied to. Besides, neither SET is truly representative of what people want.

The whole REPUBLICAN or DEMOCRAT party thing is a miserable compromise for what this nation could accomplish and it inevitably divides the people.
