Well this sounds like a romantic idea or a way to be bitter and down £100. A student and his girlfriend were discussing the difficulty of relationships for students and to show his commitment he went into the bookies to make a bet they'll still be together in 2 years.
"Brooker's girlfriend, Grayson, explained that she was delighted by the act.
'I thought it was a really lovely gesture,' she said.
'It was touching of him that he wanted to still be with me at graduation, I think we are doing quite well at the moment.'-Metro
If they are they can claim the winnings of £600, unless of course someone makes a counter bet and tries to split them up. Though from this story they'll probably make more selling this tale to a narrative empty Hollywood.

The girlfriend needs to have her friend go to the bookie and make a bet of 1000 Euro, then break up, then get back together again. That would make a real movie plot and everybody would win as long as they are back together within 2 years.
What kind of bookie takes bets like this. I've got to find one.
