Sarah Palin's message to all 57 states

Image
Itsbatman_Durr
She will never be the leader of my choice. BUT this is hysterical, true, and to me shows why so many people like her despite her lack of qualifications for public office

My fellow Americans in all 57 states, the time has changed for come. With our country founded more than 20 centuries ago, we have much to celebrate – from the FBI’s 100 days to the reforms that bring greater inefficiencies to our health care system. We know that countries like Europe are willing to stand with us in our fight to halt the rise of privacy, and Israel is a strong friend of Israel’s. And let’s face it, everybody knows that it makes no sense that you send a kid to the emergency room for a treatable illness like asthma and they end up taking up a hospital bed. It costs, when, if you, they just gave, you gave them treatment early, and they got some treatment, and ah, a breathalyzer, or an inhalator. I mean, not a breathalyzer, ah, I don’t know what the term is in Austrian for that…

Of course, the paragraph above is based on a series of misstatements and verbal gaffes made by Barack Obama (I didn’t have enough time to do one for Joe Biden). YouTube links are provided just in case you doubt the accuracy of these all too human slips-of-the-tongue. If you can’t remember hearing about them, that’s because for the most part the media didn’t consider them newsworthy. I have no complaint about that. Everybody makes the occasional verbal gaffe – even news anchors.

Obviously, I would have been even more impressed if the media showed some consistency on this issue. Unfortunately, it seems they couldn’t resist the temptation to turn a simple one word slip-of-the-tongue of mine into a major political headline. The one word slip occurred yesterday during one of my seven back-to-back interviews wherein I was privileged to speak to the American public about the important, world-changing issues before us.

If the media had bothered to actually listen to all of my remarks on Glenn Beck’s radio show, they would have noticed that I refer to South Korea as our ally throughout, that I corrected myself seconds after my slip-of-the-tongue, and that I made it abundantly clear that pressure should be put on China to restrict energy exports to the North Korean regime. The media could even have done due diligence and checked my previous statements on the subject, which have always been consistent, and in fact even ahead of the curve. But why let the facts get in the way of a good story? (And for that matter, why not just make up stories out of thin air – like the totally false hard news story which has run for three days now reporting that I lobbied the producers of “Dancing with the Stars” to cast a former Senate candidate on their show. That lie is further clear proof that the media completely makes things up without doing even rudimentary fact-checking.)

“Hope springs eternal” as the poet says. Let’s hope that perhaps, just maybe, they might get it right next time. When we the people are effective in holding America’s free press accountable for responsible and truthful reporting, then we shall all have even more to be thankful for!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Yes, V. You and I would consider it other than honest, but in the ComboGoy and Sarah Palin world, you just go for "studiously misinformed" and rest on your "I can't remember" laurels.

That way you unplug your brain from the honesty loop. If you really believe you know russia by looking across the pacific, then you can honestly say that abstinence is the best policy, and Jesus is in the next room, and when SP is elected president, -- "oh, my where are those nuclear codes again?"

Actually, there are a few honest politicians, although I'll grant you that they are not many. Senator Gravel and Dennis Kucinich come to mind.

I was referring to her way of making money, and my opinion is by no means based on CCN but on people who know her personally and have known her well for a long time.

    • Why do so many discussions on this and other sites break down into left vs.right. When will people realize that the international bankers want us fighting about anything other than the fact that they are deliberately destroying our country. They are stealing the property and wealth of the nation.

As a homosexual, I will be the first to argue with anyone about gay rights; however, I am willing to join people who may not agree with me in order to fight the biggest threat to our freedoms today; the international bankers.

The false left/right paradigm was deliberately constructed to divide the masses. Bill Clinton's mentor, Carroll Quigley, wrote about the origins of the false left/right paradigm in his book, Tragedy & Hope. Note: Carol Quigley was an insider.

      Carol Quigley wrote:

"The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one perhaps of the Right, and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can 'throw the rascals out' at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy.... [E]ither party in office becomes in time corrupt, tired, unenterprising, and vigorless. Then it should be possible to replace it, every four years if necessary, by the other party, which will be none of these things but will still pursue, with new vigor, approximately the same policies."

Watch Ron Paul exposing the fallacy of the left/right paradigm in the video posted above.

      Ron Paul for President 2012!

Except, of course, that the two parties are NOT identical.

One wants to provide universal health care, provide for our public school system, regulate the banks and corporations, supports equality and human rights for all individuals, and seek diplomatic solutions to disputes with foreign powers.

The other wants to leave health care to the Insurance companies, privatize the school system, de-regulate the banks and corporations, believes in forcing everyone to comply with "Traditional Family Values", and launch pre-emptive strikes against any possible foreign threat.

They are NOT tweedle-dum and tweedle-dee.

One has good intentions but often fails, the other is pure evil and often succeeds.

And as a gay person, you should NOT support Ron Paul, who spoke out in favor of Texas having the right to have anti-sodomy laws. He thinks a state has the right to define what sexual activities consenting adults can perform in the privacy of their own homes.

He actually believes that states have more rights than humans.

The man is NOT good for this country.

You miss the point entirely! Have you even read Carroll Quigley? He doesn't say the false left/right paradigm is identical. As a matter of fact, he specifically states that "the two parties should be (almost) identical". The issues you mention are deliberately promoted by each party in order to divide the nation, while the international bankers rape and pillage the economy. It is time to Wake Up. Unfortunately, you appear to be in a coma!

Of course, I do not agree with Ron Paul concerning gay rights, but I would vote for him hands down because he understands the real threat to this country.

Also, please provide me with evidence that Ron Paul wants to legislate "Traditional Family Values" or that he supports: Texas having the right to have anti-sodomy laws. I don't doubt that he does...I've just never heard him say it.

I certainly have concerns about Ron Paul's socially conservative views, but I believe the greatest threat to humanity is the secret cabal running our country via puppets like Obama and Bush; both Republican and Democrat.

Again- I am wide awake. If you want to keep this conversation civil, stop the "coma" attacks.

Second, I read exactly what you posted. Yes, he said "almost" not identical. Almost is a huge word filled with shades of Grey. In your view, the similarities outweigh the differences. In mine, the differences outweigh the similarities.

The issues I quoted, which include regulating banks, are NOT just a distraction. They effect everyone's lives.

Yes, I agree about the banks- the problem is you are so focused on one issue you have lost the big picture. Like people so focused on only the war, or on only GMO crops, or on only animal rights, or on only glbt rights- there is MORE involved than just one issue.

Plus, on that one issue there is a significant difference between Liberals and Conservatives.

And what makes you think Ron Paul, a life-long politician, is NOT part of that Cabal?

And what makes you think Obama, who came out of nowhere, IS part of that Cabal?

      Read this:

      http://emptv.com/p/ron-paul-doesnt-deserve-your-support

It is not just his Fundamentalist Christian views that are a problem- it's his entire political philosophy.

He is by no means a Libertarian, in any way- yet, Libertarians support him.

Yes, he believes in limiting the power of the Federal government- but that is the only goverment he thinks should be limited.

He believes States are more important than people. That states have the right to do whatever the hell they want to their citizens. He does not believe in the right to privacy.

He simply does not believe in human rights at all.

His own words where he criticized the Supreme Court's ruling in Lawrence v. Texas against Texas' anti-sodomy law, which criminalized consensual sex between same-sex partners:

"Consider the Lawrence case decided by the Supreme Court last June. The Court determined that Texas has no right to establish its own standards for private sexual conduct, because these laws violated the court's interpretation of the 14th Amendment. Regardless of the advisability of such laws, the Constitution does not give the federal government authority to overturn these laws. Under the Tenth Amendment, the state of Texas has the authority to pass laws concerning social matters, using its own local standards, without federal interference. But rather than adhering to the Constitution and declining jurisdiction over a state matter, the Court decided to stretch the "right to privacy" to justify imposing the justices' vision on the people of Texas.

Since the Lawrence decision, many Americans have expressed their concern that the Court may next "discover" that state laws defining marriage violate the Court's wrongheaded interpretation of the Constitution. After all, some judges simply may view this result as taking the Lawrence decision to its logical conclusion."

As I stated before, I do not agree with Ron Paul on gay rights! I will take the time to examine the accuracy of the quote above. I don't doubt that Ron Paul is homophobic. Many people of his generation are both racist and homophobic. However, it does not negate his stand on issues concerning the greatest threat to the world, i.e., the international banking elite.

    • UtopianSky:

I have checked the above quote and find it to be absolutely reliable. Ron Paul appears to do the same as most politicians and speak out of both sides of his mouth. Notice that he says "Regardless of the advisability of such laws, the Constitution does not give the federal government authority to overturn these laws." and earlier in the same speech he states: "Mr. Speaker, as an original cosponsor of the Marriage Protection Act (HR 3313), I strongly urge my colleagues to support this bill. HR 3313 ensures federal courts will not undermine any state laws regulating marriage by forcing a state to recognize same-sex marriage licenses issued in another state. The Marriage Protection Act thus ensures that the authority to regulate marriage remains with individual states and communities, as the drafters of the Constitution intended."

I was aware that he supports State's rights...does not believe Federal Government should interfere. As stated before, I know he is against gay marriage.

It does not negate his position concerning the greatest threat to America and the globe, i.e., the Federal Reserve and the international banking elites.

As far as big banks are concerned, Repeatedly, the Democrats have been for regulation, and the Republicans have been against it.

This bitch is trying so hard to make him look bad, she's making herself look worse.

Also Glenn Beck is not to be taken seriously. How I know...because He said so.

I think that Obama was pandering for the subnational votes(common wealth/territory) when he said 57 states. Some places like America Somoa & Peurto Rico can vote in primary & general elections, or just in the primary in some cases.

But i'de bet if you looked at when he said '57 states' you would find that there were 7 subnationals able to vote in that general or primary election.

Good politicians know every vote counts, so why not fake a gaff in order to stroke the egos of tons of overlooked legal voters without seeming to be pandering to non residents.

Rigorous intellectual pursuit of truth and understanding of issues is not her strength.

Sarah Palin's strength is nothing more than her opportunistic nature and willingness, eagerness actually, to be the next pawn.

Have no doubt that it is corporate America, multinational corporations and the banking institutions who are funding and making possible the "appearance" of her rise.

She has an incredible marketing team working very hard to brand her, to make her familiar and in so doing, more palatable to the American public. Be aware and don't be duped.

    • A lot of people are backing her, and she probably has a chance in '12. They gave her a show to try to soften her image, make her a little more palatable to the Average Republican. After all, since Obama took office, nothing has changed. They can't change anything, the insurance, banking, and oil industries won't allow it. If she gets into office, nothing will change then, either. For all the brouhaha about the November election, same deal, nothing is going to change.

And for the healthcare initiative, my premiums to cover my family rose over $110/month. Nearly 30%.

We have no real choices in our government. Vote? That's all well and good, but whenever some idealist gets into office, going to change the way everything works, he/she ends up rolling over for the big interests, those 3 that I mentioned earlier.

    • How bizarre. Sarah Palin just made one incident into a much bigger deal. This is a good reflection of the petty character Palin truly is. She is mocked for not remembering the difference of country names, so in spite, reminds everyone of another person's mistakes. She whines that they don't get the same treatment. Palin would like everyone to think she is real clever. Truth is, Sarah Palin did not type that facebook post. How could I know? Because Palin, along with the vast majority of her sheeple couldn't tell you what "hyper-text" is, much less configure a page of it. This is like one bad joke. I'm sure that everyone here has young ones in their family or know people who have young people in their family.... What about them, we can not be selfish and say ok I used my share of this earth the hell with the people that comes after me.
