Festivus is a secular holiday celebrated on December 23rd. Without religion, Festivus is a holiday celebrated by those frustrated with the commercialism and religious pressures surrounding the holiday season.

I personally feel that Christmas is still OK to celebrate as an athiest. All adults agrees that Santa is made up, but we athiests just take it one grown-up step farther. Make beleive is still fun for adults even if it just means seeing how excited kids get about it.
The comercialism is a total waste of money if people don't buy practical things their family members need. On the up side, I always know I'll have enough socks and underwear to get me through the year after X-mas.
