    • If you're riding a scoot you need to know that it'll seriously out brake just about any four wheel vehicle, and the rider clamped down pretty hard (and a bit late), with the bike stopping well short of the vehicle. If he had simply rolled on to the right and past the stopped vehicle, no accident. The car behind him only needed another two feet or so. Yup, the driver of the vehicle behind is 'at fault' but the dude (dudette?) on the bike could have simply prevented this with a bit of situational awareness.

      Way too cool to be able to walk away from something like this. One lucky biker!

    • glad the rider wasn't injured. Accidents happen. That being said, One has to wonder, at those slow speeds, how this woman could've been so distracted as to not see the rider directly in front of her. But, I've had similar things happen. Recently, soccer mom in an SUV, forced me into oncoming traffic, when she changed lanes without warning (no signal, jerked the wheel to the left.) Thankfully, I was able to kick her door, and wake her up. Oh..she never stopped, in fact, outside of her initial surprised look from me kicking her door, she never looked at me again..I'm guessing from embarrassment..

      I really hate to see folks on bikes get run over because of some moron not paying attention to the road. Yeah I would have had a hard time not blacking Her eye. I've never hit a women before but if that was me I don't know that I wouldn't
