DIVE, DIVE, DIVE …clunk.
A sailor from Thornton is living his dream after building a 70ft Nazi submarine to sail along the shallow furrows of the Leeds-Liverpool canal.
But seadog Cyril Howarth – who is nicknamed Admiral Cyril – fears his days navigating his favourite waters could be torpedoed after an investigation was launched by canal bosses.

Disruptor's. Klingon tech for Nazi subs !
Well actually,.....Romulans would make better Fascists,... but I don't know if a cloaking device would really help much in that narrow a canal,.....and that anti-matter drive has GOT to be pricey !
Klingons make better "Imperial Samurai" I guess.

Doesn't really say "what" it is. Just that it was found after the war and most likely ended up at Area 51 or the Russian equivalent. So we will NEVER know.

Dude ! ( can I call I call you "dude" . . .)
This sounds like a hoot !
[ In 1800, while crossing the Pennine Alps with his Grand Reserve Army, Napoleon Bonaparte stumbles across a startling discovery. Unable to transport it, Napoleon creates an enigmatic map on the labels of twelve bottles of rare wine. When Napoleon dies, the bottles disappear—and the treasure is lost again. ]
Yepper,....I would read that.

totally ... it would be an honor if you called me "dude" ... as for the book, it is a quick read and a great way to kill time while waiting in an airport or while waiting out a storm!!!
personally I like the dirk pitt books the best (duh ... my name is derk pippin) because I get to live vicariously through his exploits; you know: save the world, get the girl ... but no matter the character featured, it is always a pretty epic underwater adventure.)
Cheers!

Nice to have a bit o' personal background, oh canal-side native, c u r r e n t neighbor !
The actual subs certainly did take quite a toll on the shipping,....until we got better at hunting THEM. I wouldn't really have wanted a submariner job position during the second half of the war. Wouldn't really have wanted to be in the air in a B-17 either for that matter.
