To argue with your first point, I kinda pity McCain because as I understand it, he didn't have much choice about whom his running mate was and was essentially stuck with Palin regardless of his opinion on the matter.

The other side of the 'why' coin is that it was a knee jerk reaction by gramps and handlers to quickly grab those females from the Independent and Democratic party that were pissed off Hilary didn't get the nomination. Since I live in this god forsaken state, I have no pity for McShame - he is a total American disgrace!

You really believe that? McCain took that dunce who was in obscurity in Alaska to pull the female vote because then Candidate Obama did not use Hillary as his VP so his ruse did not work and allowed that dunce of a person to leave her habitat to come bother us in the lower 48 with her crap. There was no buyers remorse from McCain on choosing her. It was a strategy that backfired just like the Michael Steele as Chairman of the Republican party. THE PLOY DID NOT WORK! Now if only we could dispatch her back to the Alaskan frontier and not allow her back down here would be a feat to who can get it done. That woman has set back political reasoning to an all time low and angry discourse in this country which might not be repaired.

I didn't say McCain was immediately remorseful for getting stuck with Palin, but I don't think it really was his choice.

If I implied that then I am sorry but I did not. And McCain did have a choice but tried to fool those who wanted Hillary as VP by bringing Palin to the forefront hoping to get their votes. His little trick did not work and that is it.

Bear in mind this was posted in the Comedy section. I personally voted the story down. Anything with Sarah Palin in it is going to shoot to the top because of the stigma she carries. She is one of the most irresponsible, ignorant tools in politics; that is why she is so famous.

I am very concerned about the GOPs attempt to destroy Unions. I am not a member of a union, nor have I ever been associated with a Union. But, I do understand the importance of their existence. I think our news focus should be set on this battle, not Sarah Palin's Facebook status.

Trust me, I appreciate everyone who posts submissions. But, I will vote down the stories that don't strike me as top 10 material. At least I discussed why I voted it down, and gave my reasons for it, while supporting your sentiments.

I just want to see the qualitative, substantial news up top.
