This article said the Higgs particle may or may not exist and if it does exist they may or may not be able to send it through time.
I hate to be a Debbie downer but that does not sound 'close' to me.

And if Text Messages could be sent through time our great grandchildren would have sent most of us winning lotto numbers already.

I bet we are the only dimension in the universe that does not have time travel. Or worse we might be the exile dimension. The dimension that gets sent all political and corporate sociopaths.

So, in which of the multiple parallel universes is somebody getting Really, Really, p!$$ed off 'cause we're bouncing molecules off their head?

If they can send this matter into the past, how would we know it? Wouldn't we have ready observed something we could not identify, and how would we have known it was from the future?

Haha, this article is pretty funny. I mean, the awesomeness of physics aside, these scientists think they can send this particular type of matter created by the LHC into the past. But, they're also not sure that the LHC actually produces this matter, or if it even exists at all.

By close do you mean
- closer than before we knew the earth revolved around the sun or
- closer than when we thought the world was flat?
