Based on all the vitriol against this post, it's safe to assume most, if not all of it, is from right wing nuts, paid operatives, and political sell outs. The video makes a lot of sense, unlike any of the opposition to it.

The evidence I have is that this story was voted up by a lot of people, has over a thousand views, and tens of FaceBook likes. People find it something worthwhile. It's obvious it is anti-corporate and flies in the face of the American corporate oligarchy and so it "is safe to assume" the opposition is as I say. Yes, that's opinion and assumption, but based on reality, truth, and the democracy of public opinion. My opinion is no less worthy than yours.

Voting a story up on Current is not the same as voting for a presidential candidate. One votes stories up on Current that are worthy of note and comment, whether or not one agrees with the position(s) being taken is secondary.

For example, I would also vote up a story with a terrorist ranting, but that would not mean I agree with the words or positions being taken by the terrorist. And that does not mean I would support that terrorist in a presidential election.

Look, it's not reasonable that Obama relentlessly plays both ends against the middle. He spews rhetoric to the effect that he is genuinely concerned about the people (and he may well be), while at the same time having been elected by Wall Street, giving them what ever they want at every turn, reneging on health care by ignoring both the public option and single payer (in favor of corporate insurance industry profit), expanding the Bush regime war mongering military industrial complex for eternity, and continuing to support the very corporate criminals, even in his own administration, who brought down the American economy in 2008 and even now continue to implement the very same practices with no reprimand whatsoever.

By the way, Obama has said (as did FDR I believe) that if the people want him to act on their behalf and not that of private interests, they must MAKE him do so.
