The UK Guardian reported today that many of Ahmadinejad's aides were accused of using 'supernatural powers', including invoking jinns (spirits) in an attempt to further the president's agenda against Khameini. This includes Irani Chief of Staff Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei,
The arrests come amid a growing rift between Ahmadinejad and Khamenei which has prompted several MPs to call for the president to be impeached. The Guardian 5/5/2011
Checking for the latest on Iranian website Ayandeh-Negar, an article posted therein declared that relations between Ayatollah Khameini and his 'son' Mahmoud Ahamadinejad had become deviant.

I've been away for a couple of days, and I detect some skepticism about the veracity of the article. For those cynics, have a look at this al-Jazeera entry dated May 6th: http://english.aljazeera.net/news/middleeast/2011/05/201156113955925329.html

The person who originally submitted the article (which turns out to be her very OWN article) put it in the "News" group. After a couple of days, someone else apparently added it to the "Comedy" group. This happens. And since the whole article (especially the damn headline) is a fake, the submission really does "deserve" to be in the latter group, don't you agree?

To get a real idea of why Iran is like Iran today..especially essential for today's ignorant public who only look at American media for their perspective...watch the BBC documentary 'The Power of Nightmares'..it's available on You Tube. The U.S. deposed a socially moderate populist Iranian leader back in the 50's to install the Shah who was a brutal dicator. That's how they became they way they are now. And guess what? It was all about the oil Lebowski.
