Schwarzenegger Reveals He Had Secret Child With Employee

Former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has acknowledged that he fathered a child with a member of his household staff, a revelation that apparently prompted wife Maria Shriver to leave the couple's home before they announced their separation last week.

Schwarzenegger and Shriver jointly announced May 9 that they were splitting up after 25 years of marriage. Yet, Shriver moved out of the family's Brentwood mansion earlier in the year after Schwarzenegger acknowledged the child is his, the Los Angeles Times reported Tuesday.

"After leaving the governor's office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago," Schwarzenegger told the Times in a statement that also was sent to The Associated Press early Tuesday. "I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry.

"I ask that the media respect my wife and children through this extremely difficult time," the statement concluded. "While I deserve your attention and criticism, my family does not."

Schwarzenegger Now Has Another Alleged Mistress To Contend With

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A new woman has stepped forward claiming Arnold Schwarzenegger had a longtime affair with her that began when she was 16 years old, according to news reports Wednesday.

Gigi Jeffers, also known as Gigi Goyette, has hired high-profile lawyer Gloria Allred to represent her against the Hollywood star and former California governor, Star Magazine reported.

“I can confirm that I do represent Gigi Goyette. We have no comment at this time and we will also have no comment tomorrow.”

Jeffers told Star Magazine that she met Schwarzenegger in 1975 while she was an actress on “Little House On The Prairie.” She allegedly was just 16 years old when he had sex with her in a hotel room while his wife Maria was in another room on the same floor.

The pair allegedly didn’t meet again until 1989.

This report comes days after Schwarzenegger announced he had an affair with his maid, Mildred Patricia Baena, and fathered a child with her 14 years ago.

Schwarzenegger’s estranged wife, Maria Shriver, issued a statement Tuesday in response to the revelation:

“This is a painful and heartbreaking time,” she said. “As a mother, my concern is for the children. I ask for compassion, respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal. I will have no further comment.”

    • Surprised? no. My only surprise is that a child came out of it. Ever heard of a Vasectomy? or alternately birth control (both of you)?

Anybody thinking that he wasn't a dog should have their head examined.

Furthermore, we all should feel bad for his family although, Maria's statement that "It's so stressful not knowing what you're going to do next" is infuriating. Ok, she can feel this way but please, don't express your "stress' when your richer than most could ever dream of being. Does she really know how many people are out of work through no fault of their own? Stress! look around at people who really don't know what their going to do next - like pay their F*&$ing mortgage.

Please think before you talk about stress and what charity you might be heading up next!

also adding this to "not news",......even though some seem to think it is. To each their own,....just ask Arnold,....though I think he gets more than his fair share.

This trait doesn't really seem to be political in nature. It's really about powerful men in general. Power + money tends to = doing what you want. Really, conservatives seem to be caught in gay situations more than liberals which is very funny to me due to their vilification of the gay community and promotion of family values and religious hypocrisy.

      Hmm?

granted, hypocrisy, adultery, corruption, greed, lying, etc. is really bipartisan. but the interesting thing is that generally speaking when a conservative is caught in whatever indiscretion they either bow out voluntarily or are condemned by enough of the party that embarrassment forces them to do so. on the left it seems that generally the seedier the politician the more respect he gets. of course i realize seedy is subjective.

John Edwards Cheated on His Dying Wife (And Got His Mistress Pregnant)...Massachusetts Democratic Rep. Barney Frank admitted a lengthy relationship with a male hooker who ran a bisexual prostitution service out of Frank's apartment.
"The truth is rarely pure and never simple." Oscar Wilde

Teddy's back in the tabloids. According to the New York Daily News, among others, The National Inquirer is reporting Kennedy fathered a son 21 years ago with a Cape Cod woman half his age. The Kennedy camp denies everything.

Of course the tabs have resurrected the June 1969 scandal of Chappaquiddick -- déjà vu all over again.

And I guess it's time to tell the version I heard, supposedly from a horse's mouth, of what really happened there almost 37 years ago.

First a recap. Ted Kennedy's car went off a bridge and into a pond after a party for Bobby Kennedy's campaign staff on Chappaquiddick Island near Martha's Vineyard. A passenger, Mary Jo Kopechne (Ko-peck-nee) was subsequently found drowned in the car.

Kennedy claimed he dove repeatedly into the dark water but couldn't find her. Then, disoriented and hurt, he gave up. On it's face, a routine if terrible tragedy. But Kennedy and his handlers inexplicably waited 9 hours before reporting the accident.
The story was broken by the conservative Washington Times newspaper, which trumpeted every juicy morsel with front-page hype. Though Frank was apparently ignorant of some of the prostitute's activities, his indiscretion was so great that his standing in Congress was greatly damaged and a House reprimand passed overwhelmingly in July 1990. His home district in Massachusetts was more forgiving, reelecting him easily the following November...November 1995 Lewinsky and President Bill Clinton begin a sexual relationship, according to audiotapes secretly recorded later by Linda Tripp.

December 1995 Lewinsky moves into a paid position in the Office of Legislative Affairs, handling letters from members of Congress. She frequently ferries mail to the Oval Office...Former Sen. Brock Adams. The late Washington Democrat was forced to stop campaigning after numerous accusations of drugging, assault and rape, the first surfacing in 1988...Former Rep. John Young. The late Texas Democrat increased the salary of a staffer after she gave in to his sexual advances. The congressman won re-election in 1976 but lost two years later...Former Rep. Gerry Studds. He was censured for sexual relationship with underage male page in 1983. Massachusetts voters returned him to office for six more terms...Former Rep. Mel Reynolds. The Illinois Democrat was convicted of 12 counts of sexual assault with a 16-year-old. President Bill Clinton pardoned him before leaving office...so as i said...granted, hypocrisy, adultery, corruption, greed, lying, etc. is really bipartisan. any argument there sweetheart?

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) referred to President Barack Obama as “light skinned” and “with no Negro dialect” in private conversations during the 2008 presidential campaign.

“I deeply regret using such a poor choice of words,” said Reid in a statement. “I sincerely apologize for offending any and all Americans, especially African Americans for my improper comments.”

Poor choice of words? Exactly what other combination of words could Sen. Reid have used to convey his point? And what, exactly, was his point anyway? What was the relevance of these observations?

    • Best of luck, Arnold. Your response is that of a decent, feeling human being.
If anything you've only proven that you're human. I hope that after all the
stench of negativity from humans who're too gullible to understand this is
none of their business subsides, that you'll be able to return to normalcy
with your wife. Humans are humans because we're all 1/2 animal and 1/2
deity. People conveniently forget that the 1/2 human came first. And that
to not express both sides equaly leads to imbalance and unhealthy life.
Our Bhuddist Bhuddachi meditation teaches us that tolerance=Justice.
But more importantly why. To the open minded who know what's important
in life you're still a man we respect & admire. You signed laws that kept
the paparatzi at bay from Stalking the Hollywood folks. And other laws
that fully decrimed MJ to help us NORMALize California culture. To us,
you'll always be a hero. The real heros in this life aren't the fantasy immage
which the ignorant and foolish mistake them as. The real heros in this life
are out of that Gordon Lightfoot song from the 1960s. Sargent Shriver
& John Fitzgerald Kennedy were my heros too. We're all flawed.

Because the We the People which enlightened educated philosophers
as Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln envisioned would care enough
about being civic minded, and preserving Liberty have been subverted.
Now it's we the sheeple. The entertainment mass media misrepresents
entertainment as if it were news and abuse the 1st Amendment routinely.
The CIA controls the TV media, and uses them to mass hypnotize the
sheeple to keep them distracted with crap like this. The military industrial
complex uses the CIA & Corporate TV as it's front to play the masses to
      1. Garner grassroots support for the foreign wars for profit the sheeple
who risk it all pay for with their tax money & family members in the military,
so that the Corporate Piracy can go on at no risk to the Corporations.
      2. For social control by promoting the herd mentality. People are so
gullible they don't even realize that crap like this substitutes for the

After twenty-five years of marriage, Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver announced that they were separating last week. According to the Los Angeles Times, the woman with whom Schwarzenegger fathered a child worked for his family for twenty years until last January.

"After leaving the governor's office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago," said Schwarzenegger in a statement, according to the New York Times. “I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry.”

Shriver released a statement on the matter on Tuesday.

"This is a painful and heartbreaking time," she said. "As a mother, my concern is for the children. I ask for compassion, respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal. I will have no further comment."

    • Human faults cross party boundaries. It’s just a shame that he concealed it for so long, allowing himself to remain in office and to even get reelected. It is often the one who screams the loudest about the morality issues who has the skeletons in their closet. Spiro Agnew comes to mind with his nattering nabobs of negativism crap. It just makes me wonder if anything we see in front of us is real, except for the trickle-down misery most of us on the bottom have been left with. Schwarzenegger has lied before, on the steroids issue. As pumped-up as he was he still lost to Jack LaLanne in endurance contests.

    • I don't care much about the Schwarzeneggers, and believe they deserve each other.

However, the fact that he ran for California governor when he had an illegitimate toddler puts him on the same level as John Edwards.

It's his dick, and I don't care what he does with it. But running for office when you have an illegitimate child is the height of arrogance. It wastes the money and other resources of the politician's volunteers, staff, contributors, etc.

In addition, the GOP had to have known about this and, like I'm sure they were planning to do with John Edwards' presidential campaign, if he would have been the Democratic primary winner, the GOP would have given him--and his supporters--one helluva October Surprise.
