Who the Hell is Republican Jesus?

I would really love it if Jesus really did come back to Earth, just to see the looks on the Tea Baggers' faces when he told them, "Oh, my God, look at what you people have done!!!"

The American right wing Xtian church dates at least back to the time when slave owners and their bigoted fellow travelers had to rationalize their beliefs with their alleged Christianity. They've been doing it ever since. Ghandi summed it up when he said (and I'm paraphrasing) that he liked Christ, but not Christians. I'm still looking for a church that places Jesus ahead of Ayn Rand and the Republican party. They're getting harder to find because there's no money in being a real Christian. In the end, though, I believe these hypocritical apostates will die out when they are forsaken by the elite they serve and the wealth and power they crave collapses with the rest of society. You can't serve God and money. Like it or not, the meek are gaining on you.

I love Republican Jesus. He's pure satire. He's the embodiment of Republican beliefs in contrast to the teachings of the bible/Jesus. They all claim to be Christians, yet their ideals as Republican's often go AGAINST the teachings of Jesus...and the bible.
Republican Jesus makes it evident...and also pretty damned funny.
