Are White Liberals Racist?

While perusing through the internets today, I ran across an article from Melissa Harris-Perry. The article boldly claimed white liberals were abandoning President Obama because of their underlying racist standards in which the president couldn't live up to. I was aghast at this claim. To play the race card against people within your own party because they didn't support the president as she did was egregious.
I was familiar with such charges before. Racism is often charged against Rush, Shawn Hannity, and Glenn Beck whenever they show opposition to our president. As warranted as those charges might have been, to claim racism whenever someone chooses not to support a president only serves to undermine racial awareness and subvert the importance of recognizing true racism in it's most insidious form.
In fact, Melissa Harris-Perry has shown that she herself is a racist. To hold someone to a standard solely for their color is the most basic form of racism. To assume liberal's motives for abandoning President Obama were due to unrealistically high standards for a black man not only revealed her ignorance but highlighted her own inclinations toward projecting her deep-seeded racism on whomever she disagrees with. There is a horrible racial double standard and it's from Melissa Harris-Perry, Maxine Waters, and others that believe president Obama should be given chance after chance because he is the first African-american president.
I've read many liberal's reasons for not supporting president Obama any longer. Racism was not on the list. They didn't acknowledge color in their decision but only the fruit of Obama's deeds. Isn't that what Martin Luther King Jr dreamed about? They were angry for his chronic capitulation to the right wing.
Are liberals racist? Are charges of racism on anyone who disagrees with Obama warranted? If everyone is a racist than it becomes normal and tolerated. Melissa and others are hurting her own community.
