Along with Chris Dodd and most of the rest of the Hill. Don't even talk about Obummers Coke use even though he brought it up. So, as I said, not a bad idea. We also need to drug test everyone receiving welfare in any form.

I don't often disagree with you, but on this I'm sorry, but I disagree. I don't think drugs have caused the problems. What they do on their own time, is their own business. What they 'do' is what should be held accountable.

If a Congressman consumes cannabis on their own time, I don't think it is your's, or my business. A dragnet often catches the wrong people in the process. I don't think you can blame what they have done to America on drugs. I think it's the GREED and CORRUPTION, which does not show up in their pee!

No Worries Conniepae, I feel the same... But why should I be worried about losing my job if I smoke some Herbs on a Friday and throw a Hot Piss Test on Monday??? I smoked on my own time and even went with the Hazard of being caught buying it...

Just because I have not had the chance to Loot the system as they have does not make their actions correct, especially when we are paying them to do so....

As a civil servant in a managerial position, I was required to pay the city for my own background check. It was a substantial sum. An elected official should pay for his/her own drug test issued by a government agency.

I would like to see them completely out of office once they have been elected out of office... No more, one door closes as a Public Servant and another opens as a Lobbyist ...

They`d find a way around it! Where i live we have a new voter ID law. A 90 yr old woman went to get a picture ID(required under Replutocrat law) so she could continue to vote. They denied her because her Birth Certificate had her maiden name and not her married name. Never knew you could change your birth record to reflect marriage,or maybe the doctors should just ask the parents who the kid is gonna marry in 20yrs!

Should have been all along bailey78... I know if I set out to find a new job, that I am 95% likely to have to take a drug test... So why as we pay their wage and healthcare, should we not make them take random tests as part of electing them and their serving the public interest???

The more of US in jail or with prison records, the easier we are to control. They can use the 'illegal' drugs/sex ect because they know they won't be tested or observed. The observed part can be changed by people!
