The Vatican - The prayers of the world’s bankers and investment firms have been answered. The Bank of God has agreed to cover all global debt in exchange for what God is calling “The Ten Commitments.”

“We tend to forget that God is a shrewd money manager,” said God’s spokesman, Pope Benedict XVI. “Remember how he shorted those money changers in the temple? This new deal makes that look like an ATM transaction.”

The Pope explained that the world’s debt would disappear over the next 10 years “through the miracle of divine easing.”

    • Makes you wonder why they keep all of that money around...a rainy day maybe? ...or for the end of the world? -You know, in case most of the world's populations dies off, and they don't get raptured, and still need lots of cash to buy things from those who also didn't get raptured.

    • UPDATE: Jesus joins OWS protest today and tells a rich man, "Sell all of your possessions, give the money to the poor, and come follow me."
The rich man flipped him the bird and was not seen again.

    • Well.... It's a matter of time, wished you would have posted the story it was satirizing... Yes the Pope is calling for a universal or one world currency, I believe he was calling it a "global currency"....

Of course, people who have a good understanding of history tend to reject Catholicism, the Pope... It's what remains of Constantine's adoption of Christianity, because the people were literally sick and tired of executing Christians, just to watch the number of Christians grow..... Christians were a threat, so Rome of that day adopted it in order to control it, was somewhat effective....

Funny, if you're familiar with the Bible you can see things coming to pass, coincidence or not, things keep happening....

I'm waiting for it, they will adopt a one world currency, the Pope is likely to help push it through... But it will only be a matter of time before that new currency is worthless, people will give up on materialism on a large scale... That's when the digital currency (cashless) transactions will become the standard... By then we'll have a one world government, and a universal leader... The majority of the population will claim to be "atheists" but will strangely almost worship this new leader with a fanatical drive....

A whole lot more shit is going to happen to, read up.... But the Catholic Church is no representation/spokesperson for Christianity, neither are the other widely publicized charlatans...
