Occupy Violence vs Tea Party Peace

Image
congoboy
Elitist Occupy Wall Street protestors view their law breaking disruptive protests as far superior to the peaceful tidy Tea Party.
The Tea Party rallies consist of concerned grandparents and small business owners. The Occupy Wall Street protests brag about how they have warrants out for their arrest and sell pot and heroine to other mob members.
The Left seems to think Obama is good at public policy and has devised a way of protesting Obama without protesting Obama and in fact still politically supporting him. A direct protest of Obama’s policies that the left is unhappy with would make them feel silly when they inevitably went back to support and vote for him in the coming election year, but this way the target is not Obama but the private sector. “Blame the banks, not Obama [or any other Liberal politician]“.
Leftists came up with the talking point to smear the Tea Party protests as being “Astro-turf” rather than grass roots, but never came through with any evidence of such. Though, while there has been no evidence to support the smear that the grass roots Tea Party movement was in fact Corporate manufactured, Occupy Wall Street on the other hand has been posting ads on Craigslist for paid protestors) and indeed organizers had admitted to paying some protestors before then.

The Unions are certainly on board. And Occupy Wall Street has the support of Iran as well: “A revolution and a comprehensive movement against corruption in the U.S. is in the making. The last phase will be the collapse of the Western capitalist system.”

Occupy Wall Street is a protest of “corporate greed” and has no clear goal.
The Tea Party is a group protesting big government and immediately became an effort to elect Constitutionalists to positions in politics.

Paul Krugman (and other NY Times editorial board members) claims the Plutocracy is in a Panic even though the Occupy Wall Street protestors are mostly well behaved – certainly better behaved than those Tea Party brutes…

Spoiler Alert: Krugman is not even close to being accurate.

The Tea Party has proved to consistently be a peaceful gathering in its manifestations across the country that cooperates with police and local authorities and cleans up after themselves when they are done (See the pictures of the Tea Party rally aftermath to the filth left behind after Obama’s Inauguration).

The “Anarchists for big government” that are the Occupy Wall Street protests have consistently been disruptive gatherings in its manifestations across the country that defies the police and local authorities, creating a terrible mess in their wake.
Commissioner Ray Kelly had some strong words for “Occupy Wall Street” protesters Thursday, blaming participants for starting skirmishes which led to more than 20 arrests on Wednesday.

“What they did is they counted. They actually had a countdown — 10, 9, 8, 7, 6 — they grouped together, they joined arms and they charged the police. They attacked the police. They wanted to get into Wall Street, they wanted to occupy Wall Street,” Kelly told reporters.

Police arrested 28 people Wednesday — mostly for disorderly conduct. There was at least one arrest for assaulting a police officer and police said one protester even knocked an officer off his scooter.

    • I'd have to note that probably 90% of the occupy protesters have electronic gadgets that wouldn't exist had it not been "rare earth metals" that were acquired from slave labor in Africa.... Probably many of them are wearing clothes that came from sweatshops...

On some levels I have to agree, a big portion of them COME ACROSS as trust fund kiddies that are worried their extra cash is going to completely dry up...

(Violence or oppression certainly went into their clothes and gadgets.... But that's another part of why they're protesting.... No other affordable option has been given.)

The hypocrisy of the US from government down to people is well documented, we didn't end slavery, we didn't even completely outsource it.... Take a trip to the right town in West Virginia, Massey Energy owns the whole fucking town, a few of them....

(That's honestly where the term "redneck" first appeared in American culture. When the union working miners came down to support those enslaved by Duke Power way back in the day, they wrapped red bandannas around their necks to identify themselves (keep from shooting the wrong people)... They actually had a whole "war" over it in Harlan county... Sorry, just the misuse of such terms as "redneck" and a general ignorance about it bothers me.... The fact that they were fighting for the rights of actual SLAVES when they first showed up on the scene, and were on the Northern side of the divide..... Alright I'll shut-up, another day.....)

Yes there are fuct up people in on the campaign, there are hypocrites, there are the occasional "drug" user..... But it's not like the American consumer/citizen has had much choice or voice in MANY years, the corporations continue to run amok, continue to try to enslave everyone they can, and even with all the bullshit.... I support them, and it would be about Un-American to not support them.....

well i would venture a safe bet that there are more than just a few drug users and many of them on a daily fix. no one wants to support corrupt business or banking practices and most americans agree changes need to be made. most of these ows'ers are focusing too much of their energies in the wrong direction. politics are behind most of their complaints. big powerful politicians both left and right screwing us all. its not one corrupt party its both of them

    • If you live in a glass house, don't throw frozen turds, so here goes:

Tea baggers are nothing but a bunch of inbred hicks, who no nothing of the government they hate so much. If they did,.they would realize they are playing right into the corporations plans.
On the other hand, ows supporters are peace loving poeple who see through the lies, and they know that this country needs reforms, not elimination of the government.
In summary I will add that if the tea party would come to their senses, they would know they were highjacked by the gop.

"Tea baggers are nothing but a bunch of inbred hicks..." That's pretty funny from a guy who, two words later, used the incorrect "no" in the sentence.
OWS has the blessing and backing of the Nazi and Communist Parties along with such America hating luminaries as George Soros.
The Tea Party wants to end the Fed, limited government, fiscal responsibility and individual freedom. Except for the first named, you seem to oppose these things, why? The Tea Party does not want socialism. They have no intention of taking other peoples success from them. They have never spit on members of the armed forces. The behavior at the rallies are worlds apart and so are many of the goals and for good reason.

wow dugs, where'd you glean your info from? certainly not from any legitimate sources. your beer swilling parroting friends dont count. the left almost always resorts to violence when they dont get their way, like spoiled babies they throw hissie fits, and since my girlfriend introduced me to what tea baggings all about i dont consider it an offensive title my friend. be original, think for yourself and come up with something new

If you reread the words I typed without infusing your own partisanship into them you will comprehend I was talking about many people. You are just as intolerant and divisive here as anyone you point a finger at.

    • The Tea Party would have gotten their skulls cracked too had they hung out for days on end protesting. Aside from the fact that both movement's protests were about government and the economy, the big difference between the two movements were that the Tea Party protested for one day and went home while the #occupywallstreet is an ongoing destabilization plan that is foundation funded not unlike the "spontaneous" Arab Spring protests.

Don't forget that protectors and defenders of the 1%, front organizations ADL and the SPLC had been working with law enforcement to take on the Tea Party should there had been any issues with potential violence.

      http://www.americanfreepress.net/html/adl_tea_parties_gagged_219.html

"The ADL just produced a 20-page report, “Violent Voices: Anti-Government Extremism Takes on New Intensity.” The report gives examples of “hate speech” now proliferating on the Internet and suggests these words will lead to violence."

Oh-bullshit, the whole country is on drugs.... It's just that the majority of Americans are on more socially acceptable drugs.

A drug, broadly speaking, is any substance that, when absorbed into the body of a living organism, alters normal bodily function. There is no single, precise definition, as there are different meanings in drug control law, government regulations, medicine, and colloquial usage...... (wiki agrees)

Okay sex releases endorphins, that's why we have sex addicts...

Shopping, feeling as if one has power or authority over others, all sorts of things do similar... And the damn idiot box known as TV activates pleasure centers and actually causes your brain to start operating on theta-waves, which are most prevalent during sleep...

So your assertion that "Tea-Party" people don't use drugs.... Bullshit, our brain is setup with a damn reward system that amounts to drugging when you do the right thing, or just when your ill and it's been wired to get off on the wrong thing.... Such as overeating, chronic masturbating, shopoholic-ing, wtfe...

      We're all on drugs...

    • So incredibly silly. I have to hand it to you congoboy -- you are amazingly consistent in you silliness. You keep on young man I think your warped analysis of the current enviroment in the U.S. will get people with sense out and active.

The best thing in the world for the Occupy Wall Street protests are people like you and Fox. Scare the general population that folks like you will be running the nation again -- more folks will move their hind ends to prevent you.

STOP the TEAPARTY or suffer the consequences -- and the consequences will be dire indeed.

hmmmm, more deceptive rhetoric coming to you from the left. even if tea partyers carried weapons to their rallies theyed most likely be legal, licensed and only used for self defense. wonder how many firearms the ows beggers conceal are legal?

man you guys have a twisted method of evaluating stuff.

apparently if the cops walk in a line near the tea party it is the government using riot police to stiffle freedom of expression.

but when the cops attack peacefull protesters it is something else.

btw, when you go against the grain, the authorities tend to act.that is kind of how ya know they are trying to actaly cange shit.as opposed to the tea party who didnt try to change shit.just bitched and moaned about obama.

the funniest part is the picture you use to try and sell the notion of hypocracy.when the occupy movement isnt doing all the shit you are trying to claim they are.they dont want to live without corperate america, as fox tells you lemmings.they have no problem trendy name brand items.they just want those who profit from them purchasing them to pay their fair share.

please keep using pictures like this.it actualy helps occupy, as you actively disprove your masters own propaganda.

when cops walk a line near us it usually because theyre in line with us. we have nothing to fear from them. how come the cops are never shooting rubber bullets at a tea party? cops generally dont attack peaceful protests unless provoked in some way. you wont see it happening at a tea party. so you taken up the dank again?

      news to ya?

no we wont see that in the tea party, cuz the tea party is a yuppie bbq.but you will see tea party members attacking others.forgot the girl who got her head stomped?
