I don't think he is racist but it doesn't matter. He is ignorant in economy and extremist. He wants to abolish the minimum wage and he said that "this will help the poor". What ?. As it is the minimum wage now , companies think that it's "too much". Leaving the workers at the mercy of businesses and pay them whatever they "think " is fair, is ridiculous and shows that this guy is just plain stupid. President Paul?. Ha ,ha ,ha. That's a joke!!.

The Ron Paul lens is one where you are independent and self sustaining or you a government teat sucker. Since minorities are disproportionally affected by poverty, and therefore require more government support, he seems like a racist. While his archaic thinking towards homosexuals supports the view that he is homophobic, I really don't think he cares where you stick what in the privacy of your own bedroom.

I do not believe he is deceptive or a hater in general. He sticks to his principals even in the face of certain defeat. I like Ron Paul because I know exactly where he stands on the issues and he does not shift with the political. I think he should never hold a government office because his policies are dangerous and destructive to the nation.

I thought we already established that Ron Paul is racist and homophobic, which is why hes jumping in the GOP polls. What we should be talking about is his actual policies. Whenever I ask a Ron Paul supporter why they want him to be President each one says different and conflicting things.

I dont want a nutcase destroying half the cabinet just because there are issues. Only an idiot destroys something when instead it can be fixed. We need reform. Not a maniac that wants to isolate us, deregulate corporations, require proof of citizenship for emergency care (what the fuck), make the church more important than state (he thinks the founding fathers were deeply religious...I guess he has no clue who Thomas Jefferson was), get rid of social security, must I go further?!?!

The man is a scam. He is infamous for being against government spending yet somehow always manages to request massive earmarks in bills he votes against but knows congress will pass them anyways.

Sure hes right on a couple issues, I'll admit that without a problem, but his extreme and borderline insane stance on most issues make him one of the worst possible contenders for being President. Heck, he doesnt even know what bureaucracy really is so how do you expect him to work it?

I didn't realize it was questionable whether or not he is a racist. It's pretty clear cut to anyone who knows anything at all about the man.

He also wants to free the weed, and we all know thats whiteys way of holding the black man down.

Look, the Republicans would never let him become the nominee. I can't comment on this story because I haven't studied it or do I really believe it makes a huge difference. I care if someone is a racist certainly but Ron is in no way close to becoming a powerhouse. No one really thinks he has a chance of becoming the nominee but if he did there would be no way that even most conservative voters would or could support him. Just his isolationist stance is absurd. We can work to pull our expansion throughout the world back but there's no way we could do what he proposes.

Quickest way for the President to get elected again is to pick him or one of the other off-beat nutcases.
