You've been watching too much Faux News. The fact is a Gingrich/Santorum ticket couldn't beat a write-in for my grandmother. The only candidate that has a snowballs chance in hell to beat Obama, and even then it wouldn't be a shoe-in is Ron Paul. Unfortunately so many conservatives have gone over to the dark side, they don't see him as a viable candidate, so I'm fairly certain Obama will win 4 more years.

It is interesting in seeing the Left-wingers contradict themselves. They give the knee-jerk reaction in unison: If a person dissents from their ideology or does not acquiese to their demands, they assert that the person must be parroting FOX News.

That proves conclusively that the Liberals actually have membership in the Borg. They do as they are directed, and one of the directives is to insist that such a person is a FOX News watcher. The irony is that THEIR media - Rachel MadCow, Huffy-Puffy Post, or whatever - is telling them what to think and how to respond.

You are right. Thank you for your comment and reminder. I lose patience when I see the cliches and knee-jerk reactions. I get choleric when I see Founder-bashers who are on other threads, and I probably carry it over to other threads.

But one thing is clear, and you probably will accept it: I really do not care in the slightest when I am personally attacked. However, it DOES bother me when I see people try to tear down our glorious history, defame our Founders, and attack free-market capitalism in an all-encompassing and destructive fashion. Those people are perpetuating myths and deceptions of which they may even be unaware. They are parroting the dogma of anti-capitalists and it is unfortunate that the gullible and uninformed are ingesting the poison.

The name, "Mishima" is of little importance. I do not admire or emulate the person, but have a certain respect that I would only explain to an open-minded person. But that is not the reason I chose that name, of course.

What is "free market capitalism?" Certainly not anything we're experiencing nowadays. The interests preaching "free market" are without exception those who seek to control the markets themselves. And in a democracy, what is the role of the will of the people, especially when they are given nothing but bad choices to vote for?

Seriously! The good citizens of New Hampshire wasted their votes with those top 3 LOSERS! I'm not thrilled with Huntsman, but I think the country could at least survive with a Huntsman presidency, but with Gingrinch, Santorum or Paul as president we might as well give up and sound the death knell.

Any of the candidates will easily defeat the entity that unfortunately happens to be occupying the White House for the next 53 weeks, but I would like to see a Gingrich-Santorum ticket. But Romney had a good idea about an certain "Amendment" he promises to initiate.
