Two votes each for Huntsman and Romney, one each for Gingrich and Paul, and the winner is: Barack Obama with three votes.
Even Limbaugh sprays: "So goes Dixville, so goes the nation"!
You can't make this stuff up, even Ron Paul got stomped 3 to 1!

IMO, Obama has no competition.
The republicans have moved Romney so far to the right, there is no way he can make it back to the center.

Thanks to the cowed DNC, Obama didn't have any competition.

They are right. The last 5 Presidents came in second in their NH primary, this time around it was Ron Paul since we know he wont be the candidate, we know that Obama will win.

It got ignored because it's a tiny district. It's hardly representational of the whole of America. What? They have psychic powers? Why don't we elect them, then?

In the general elections, Missouri was on a pretty good winning streak too -- They picked every winner from 1960 through 2004. It was called the bellwether state because of that. In 2008, however, they went for McCain and Obama won.
I'm not saying that Dixville Notch is due to lose their lucky streak this year, but I think we have better ways to guess the winner than to rely on what are, in effect, superstitions.

Note that it is unlikely that the Huntsman, Romney, Paul, or Gingrich folks will vote for Obama. It's Republicans 6, Obama 3. The NY Times reported that by their best data, Obama has a 17% chance of beating Romney, though that was before we realized that Romney was covered in filth as a result of the Bain Capital discoveries.

Tell that to all the innocent people murdered under his regime. Credit for Drone attacks? Credit for Libya War Crimes? Credit for assassinating U.S. citizens. Credit for indefinitely detaining humans? I don't care if your leader can turn water into wine, if one innocent person loses their life, then all the credit can not bring that person back to life. So, what good is credit for the Dead, murdered, the tortured, abused, and detained. I don't think this credit will do them much good, but you want to give O credit?

That's the sad reality of being President of the United States. Ask Lincoln.
It would be nice if a president could sprinkle fairy dust and blow all our problems away.
Obama has done what he promised to do -- get us out of Iraq where we never belonged and go after Bin Laden and the Taliban which we should have done a lot sooner.
The man has done a damn fine job of both! - 5 months ago

It is an absolute travesty that the mainstream media was not on 24 hour watch for the most important 9 votes in the 2012 election. Dixville-notch (yes i had to google to find out what a dixville-notch was but that is besides the point) further demonstrates the corruption in the corporate media complex, the republicans fear the power of the "notch" which basically just said "santorum gingrich paul romney huntsman you can go start an extramarital affair get a wall street job and abort your wives next pregnancy now, its all over"

Because it's Dixville Notch!!!
(quoting Lush Rimjob don't help)
Damn... Wtf? a total of around 10 votes... Let me guess they're using the "electoral college" system or wtfe?
Are they still using Diebold voting machines anywhere? other than Iowa, where it's already been established that is the case....
Let's just wait until Romney & Santorum get done ruining their shot, and we'll have a good ole fashioned election based on principles and history.... I doubt Obama will win, though similar, if not the exact same corporate interests that stole 2 for Bush would gladly still one for Obama to maintain the kleptocracy & police-state...

It's a very huge machine and it will take several administrations to bring back fairness into the system. Even if the Election polls get close, the wild card for Obama will be switching seats with Hillary and Joe Biden. Setting up a Hillary Presidency in 2016, pushing this administration to the left is my goal and a Progressive end!
