Jon Stewart Deconstructs Newt Gingrich

Jon does make a good point with the sleezy thing. However, sex scandals are getting old. Very, very, very, old. It's true, Newton probably only takes off his gimp suit during the debates, but I wanted Herman Cain. Newt seems to be trying to emulate Cain now. He's smiling a lot (look at his wifes' tired jaws, she keeps him smiling), and he now knows that not looking angry is enough for him to get elected.

If he doesn't look angry, his balls will get him elected. It seems big balls are what America likes, regardless of scandals. Newt apparently has big, giant, red, white, and blueballs. Let's all vote for whoever has big balls, big balls to you and yours.

I still think they pushed Clinton into getting hostile in Iraq over his not having sexual relations with that woman...

Frankly, I'm more concerned that Newt wants wants go to war with Iran than rehashing his string of domestic mis-adventures.
Still, Jon's point that Newt, despite his howlingly ridiculous disclaimers, is indeed, a sleazy and very well-paid lobbyist, is right on.

The right-wing crowd that Newt represents will be as impervious to attacks on Newt's previous personal behavior as much as they tried to be with Herman Cain until it got to be too much even for them.
Besides, Newt's got a new Christian "I'm reborn" get-out-of-disgrace card he's just played. That works well in that odd world of fundamentalists when they want to believe it.
