NO! Satan is way too too liberal for the GOP! Satan actually believes all of his demons are equal and as long as they do his bidding, they have free rein of everything that is in his power, unlike the GOP who firmly believe in keeping people below them so that they have someone to look down on and put walk all over.

Why do you think the GOP turned the stars upside down in 2000 to resemble pentagrams on their elephant logo???? Look it up if you don't believe me...nobody would just do that without knowing what they were doing.

Do liberals worship the state and control of the people? I say liberals because not all Democrats are off their nut like Pelosi or Debbie Wasserman-Schultz. The answer is yes, pretty much. Actually it would be more accurate to speculate whether liberals worship Satan but I can't yet make the leap that equates the state with Satan. The only thing wrong with my speculation is that liberals don't seem to have any belief at all in any deity beyond the state. I'm not even sure they believe in a God.

I do not know if you can call it that or not - whatever you call it, it is evil. Republicans are true naturalists, in that they believe in the Darwin "survival of the fit".For what ever reason a person cannot manage on their own, Republicans feel they should just perish. If you cannot feed yourself and your family, you should starve. If you cannot afford healthcare for you and your family, you should die. What the dumbasses do not realize is that they now pay for poor people's healthcare and pay more than insurance would cost. Where I live, we have several hospitals whose ERs are used for doctor's offices since that is the only way some have to get treated for everyday type illnesses. These hospitals are funded by local county, state, and federal tax money. So, whether they like it or not, I can have a selfish Republican pay my doctor bill anyway. Only, they would come out a lot cheaper if they just helped me get insurance and let the greedy insurance company pay the inflated bill. Oh, well. Logic is not in abundance these days, is it?

Frankly, I'm tired of everything to do with Republicans. For a party that is said to be irrelevant you would never know it here and elsewhere. And I don't know if "all" Republicans worship anything (though it is obvious what those in government hold allegiance to) just as I don't know what "all" of any other group worships either. I do know however, that for the most part people (of all "labels") on this planet worship themselves, which is why this world is now in the state it is in.
~~~~
And coolplanet, Katherine Kayhoe the climate scientist is a Republican as well as the other groups and scientists (one in particular who was threatened) that we even spoke about looking to tell the truth about climate change. Are they all satan worshippers too just because they are Republicans? Are you then saying all Democrats are saints? I think you know logically that isn't true. The corrosion lies primarily in the government on all sides, granted more to Republicans in government who actually worship oil but then haven't we all enabled it to some point? What is any Democrat doing to stand up to BP and their ecocide? Why are Republicans being allowed to keep bringing the Keystone XL into every damn piece of legislation? Why should our civil liberties be more important to us only when a Republican president takes them from us? What about those Republicans and Democrats out here totally disillusioned with government as a whole? When do we get to the point in this country and actually in this world when we can be seen as humans and not just political labels?At least I know you won't bite my head off for daring to ask such questions because at this point I just see too much hatred and division in this country on all sides to think we will ever get to the point where climate change or anything else of real urgency is dealt with as it should be, and that is truly irrresponsible regarding the future. No doubt there is an inherent evil if you wish to call it that in this world. But it eminates from a false materialism that seeks to block the light. I truly think unblocking that light (consciousness, perception) is essential to our survival and from where I sit there are people of all "labels" doing the blocking. No wonder people in developing nations are doing more to conquer the world's problems such as climate change than we are now. I really hope we see some change coming. I think this year is the start, but only if we all see our place in this.Thanks.
Wonderful comment, Jan.
When I posted this last night it was in total frustration that what most people seem to be talking about is how stupid and evil the republican candidated are. So I thought I'd take it to the next level and have some fun in the process. I was shocked, and a little embarrassed, that it shot to #1. It was a real challenge balancing humor and seriousness let me tell you.
What made it all worthwhile was when I received a message from one of my favorite posters thanking me for making their day and cheering them up. I sure got a kick out of it too!
I sent it to my dear friend who devoted his life to stopping prison rape and who was a human shield in Iraq in 2003. While he appreciated the humor his comment really floored me. He doesn't see any difference between republicans and democrats. A lot of activists feel this way.
Well this activist sees an ENORMOUS difference. I concluded during the Reagan error that democrats are generous and republicans are stingy. Democrats are open-minded and republicans are close-minded. This over-simplification has proven to be truer and truer over the years to me.
What has always galled me most about republicans is how they claim to be the real Christians and label liberals "ungodly." The Gospel doesn't talk about abortion or homosexuality. It is all about feeding and clothing and housing and healing the poor. It's about being non-judgmental and kind to one another. This is why I consider myself a Christian although I have never belonged to a church. I believe "Wherever two or three are gathered in my name I am there among them." I believe it's about practicing the Gospel, not merely preaching it.
One of my favorite stories is when the disciples wanted Jesus to condemn pagans who were teaching the Gospel. He asked "Are they against us?" The disciples said "No." I can just picture the look on their faces when he responded, "If they are not against us then they are with us."
The Man blew everyone's minds in his time and ours.
I often wonder if what Jesus meant by "Get thee behind me Satan" was an invitation to join in the Gospel of compassion and forgiveness. To me this seems the only way we will ever reach a truly civilized and peaceful coexistence on Earth. - 3 months ago
I certainly know where you are coming from regarding the predisposition of "ass"uming about others as well. And as far as this government is concerned historically what you say is valid. On the whole, the Republican party of today surely is the most intolerant, but I also wonder how much on all sides is just for show. Politics in general to me is now nothing more than a circus. With what we see going on in the Gulf and with the environment as a whole that is basically ignored and covered up, I know government is not there to really care about us but to use us for their own goals.
I suppose what I'm talking about in regards to the topic are Americans out here- many of whom I believe are starting to see just how corrupted and selfish politics in this country inherently is as a whole and the damage that has done to so much we hold dear. I've known people in my life of all politics who were down to earth people who do not espouse to this extreme view we see in so many Republicans today.Their party has been hijacked as has the Democratic party to a degree by corporatists whose only goal is their own benefit. The bottomline to all this for me is that we have to stand up to it in total if we are ever going to see a better country for us and those to come, especially regarding the environment which hinges on so many other important issues.
Our so called "leaders" have forgotten how to lead in their quest to appease whoever they have to in order to maintain power, which isn't leading. I suppose you could say that is following a devil of sorts, that false materialism, but it touches humans of all persuasions. My personal bone to pick with Democrats is that they always allow Republicans to control the debates taking place and they are doing it again. More attention is paid to them than talking about solutions and real issues like poverty. We can't legitimately complain about it then if we are also engaging in it. It's time the debate was set that they have to follow.Thanks for responding.
The Republicans currently are social psychopaths.In denying the connection of people's health;financially,medically,and yes,spiritually with their psychopathic hatred of all but the wealthy.Hate is the opposite of most religious and spiritual tenets.
Yes,the Republicans do love satan,and the dark side of human existence,the side that cares not for each other.
If we are images of God,then the Republicans in hating all but the wealthy, hate mankind.
The three city states, Washington, London and The Vatican have ties back to Atum or Amen from Ancient Egypt. Each has it's obelisk in which the spirit of Satan is thought to reside...London and The Vatican went so far as to import obelisks directly from Egypt's ancient sites...DC has the Washington Monument. Each city is it's own entity within a country, with it's own laws and systems. The Vatican is the head of spiritual control, London is the head of political control and Washington is the head of military control. Does this mean Republicans worship Satan? I don't know, interesting facts to consider none the less. Quite a rabbit hole if you start looking into it.
It is never as simple as the "evil" thing, (that Michael Moore likes to bring up, and who I am a big supporter of nonetheless). Certain people seek advantage over others by rigging the system. The surprising thing is that many working class individuals, (mostly white), find comfort voting for the people who are ultimately screwing them. They like to think of themselves as belonging to some kind of exclusive country club, where rubbing elbows with wealth will somehow rub off on them. They don't realize that they will never be allowed into the inner sanctum, and if they even come close to the door, they will be thrown out on their butt.
I've always been fascinated with the word 'mammon.' It seems to be associated with the words mammal and mammary. Perhaps it is similar to the Cree Indian word 'keshagesh' which translates 'greedy guts.' The Cree don't consider this evil, comparing it to a litter of puppies where one hogs the tits. mammon
"personification of wealth," mid-14c., from L.L. mammona, from Gk. mammonas, from Aramaic mamona, mamon "riches, gain;" left untranslated in Greek N.T. (e.g. Matt. vi.24, Luke xvi.9-13) retained in the Vulgate, and regarded mistakenly by medieval Christians as the name of a demon. - 3 months ago
Wikipedia writes: “Etymologically, the word is assumed to derive from Late Latin 'mammon', from Greek 'μαμμωνάς', Syriac 'mámóna' (riches), and was an Aramaic loan word in Hebrew meaning wealth or possessions, although it may also have meant 'that in which one trusts'“.
Note it says “assumed to derive from.”
Whiterosegarden.com writes: “Mammon, a word of Aramaic origin, means ‘riches‘, but has an unclear etymology; scholars have suggested connections with a word meaning ‘entrusted‘, or with the Hebrew word ‘matmon‘, meaning ‘treasure‘.”
Note again it says Mammon “has an unclear etymology.”
I have long suspected that there is a Latin etymological connection between mammon and mammal. Just a hunch.
Since there is no such thing as satan perhaps we may define satan in this context to be all that is evil about man. We may also want to define Republicans as those who are so with their eyes wide open and exclude the ignorant every-day people who are Republicans against their own best interests just because they're stupid.
With these definitions, yes, Republicans worship satan. For theirs are the tenets of greed, war, nationalism, holier-than-thou-ism, fascism, sexism, racism, homophobia, etc -- the list goes on. We may also include those Democrats who serve the elite while lying to liberals for votes in this group of Republicans who worship satan. Most politicians no matter which of the 2 elite-serving teams they play for are evil sons of bitches, manipulating the masses and destroying the Earth for their own selfish purposes.
How do you arrive at the numerology? Henry Kissinger is 666 if you assign a base of 6 to each letter of the alphabet and increase each letter by adding another 6 to it...so that A = 6 and B = 12 and C = 18 and so on...Plug that into a matrix, add a name, and then try different ones. You will find that Henry Kissinger = 666.
Kissinger is a well known war criminal and mastermind of neoliberal economic policy, he opened up the dragon, China, to the US and he ordered genocides all over the world.
The way a numerologist explained it to me a long time ago is, first you count the letters in each name (Ronald=6 Wilson=6 Reagan=6), then you add them (6+6+6=18) and then you add 1+8 to arrive at 9. Every name breaks down to a number between 1 and 9.
The system you refer to comes up with many interesting candidates, the first and foremost being Nero Caesar. - 3 months ago
