***UPDATED BELOW***
If Democrats didn't have all the incentive they needed to pass health care reform already, then conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh may have provided the final push they needed by vowing to flee the country if the reform bill is passed.
Responding to a caller who asked him where he would go for health care if Congress enacts reform, Limbaugh replied,
I don't know. I'll just tell you this, if this passes and it's five years from now and all that stuff gets implemented -- I am leaving the country. I'll go to Costa Rica.

It was from a Leftist himself, the Reverend Jim Jones when around 900 people died following his Left-winger dream. They believed in the Leftist vision, and followed the leader - notice how Obama is like a leader, proving this is another imperative of the Leftist true believers - drinking Koolaid laced with cyanide.

Unless you reference it, I do not know to what you are responding.
But labor is dependent on those who set up the factories, the stores, the places of work. Labor just shows up, taking no real risk and demanding guarantees. Labor lives off the creativity, innovation and capital investments of others, most of whom have failed but they do not care.. Labor just wants its guarantees and wants others to set up places of work off which they can swarm in and feed.

That's not to say you do not use slightly vitriolic rhetoric as well, but you actually bring up salient points that, at least to me, are worth debating.
The mistake I think people make is in thinking that ALL people who are Republicans (as opposed to Republican Politicians) are fascist racists who have no heart or care about the poor or the sick. And that people think that all Democrats (as opposed to Democratic Politicians) are communist, freedom hating, indoctrinating, Stalinist statists.
It is rarely as black and white as all that, and almost everyone I know thinks that what they are doing is GENUINELY in the best interest of their fellow man. If we use that as a common ground beginning, I think we could make many strides towards reconciling the two major factions in American Politics.

Jones was a member of the Commie Party.
I know you will contrive some way to reject these facts, and I will regret posting data, but what the heck:
"[jones] asked himself "how can I demonstrate my Marxism? The thought was, infiltrate the church."
"Jones moved away from the Communist Party and Maoists when CPUSA members and Mao Zedong became critical of some of the policies of former Soviet leader Joseph Stalin."
"Moved away from" means "was formerly close to." And he was upset over criticism of Stalin.
{Jones had long been critical of the United States' opposition to communist leader Kim Il-Sung's 1950 invasion of South Korea, calling it the "war of liberation"} Loved North Korea.
{before the late 1960s Jones chose to conceal that his gospel was actually communism. By the late 1960s, Jones began at least partially openly revealing in Temple sermons his "Apostolic Socialism" concept} "Conceal" means to hide WHAT IS THERE. A COMMIE.
{Jones admitted to the New York Times that, as early as age 18 when he watched his then idol Mao Zedong overthrow the Chinese government, Jim Jones realized that the way to achieve social change through Marxism in the United States was to mobilize people through religion}

Yes, but I hope you have noticed that I rarely ever refer to political parties. In fact, I find the discussion of specific policies and bills rather boring. These things come and go. It is the underlying principles, values and beliefs that drive all of these, and these are not things that are occurring today; they have been with us for decades and even centuries, driving policy and programs. If one can see the overall motives, philosophies, principles and values, most of these day-to-day changes become very clear.

Where did the toaster come from? Perhaps I am expressing myself a little too hyperbolically. Maybe it would be more accurate to say that the success of business is hopelessly intertwined with that of Labor. Without labor, innovation would be limited to a more efficient toaster for you and your next door neighbor, at BEST.
Of course I am not one of those people who think that labor should get ALL the money. That would be absurd...I think we are seeing a reaction today because executive pay is so far out of tune with reality that it has created a LOT of labor unrest. Despite what you may see in places like Wisconsin..I feel and experience a very nasty current growing through the population and it is all aimed at the government AND corporations..and more specifically banking institutions. If there is nothing done to address this, there WILL be a Bolshevik style revolution..history shows us this...and then EVERYONE loses.

.{Of course I am not one of those people who think that labor should get ALL the money. That would be absurd...I think we are seeing a reaction today because executive pay is so far out of tune with reality that it has created a LOT of labor unrest.}
It is important to take human nature in the equation. It is what it is, and government policies can never change it.
Let's say that there were many jobs, would people be screaming about the pay of CEOs? I propose that this agitation has been brought about mostly by those who are doing it for political and ideological purposes. People do not generally care about what others are making, especially in America. But in bad economic times, people are frustrated and looking for reasons. And the politicians and ideologues are there, contriving plenty of them.
This is not anything new at all. It is a repeat of the 1890s when populists and progressives actually lied about and distorted what was going on in the country for political purposes. For example, farms were doing poorly because of rapid mechanization and, even more so, government policies of cheap land. Also from land speculators. In a nutshell, people who did not have any skills were trying to be farmers, and they were failing. And there was the move to the cities, causing cultural unrest. I could go on and on with the changes, but the point is that the populists and progressives said it was the BANKERS AND RICH INDUSTRIALISTS who were totally the blame, and that the only way out was the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT managing, regulating and even owning the means of production.
Nothing has changed: These left-wingers simply see an opportunity to achieve the dream that they have pursuing for 125 years: The central authority managing the society and the economy.

I suppose it is possible, but please look at OUR history: Yes, in Europe and Asia, there were revolutions, and if we look, all the pernicious ideologies came out of Europe: Marxism, Communism, Fascism, Nazism. All European, not American.
Americans are disinclined to revolution. If anything is part of our REAL (non-Leftist) culture, it is anti-revolution. {I posted a link to prove he was a republican and all you can do is say he wasn't..}
Numerous points:
1. I never said the Leftist icon, Reverend Jimmy Jones, was NOT a Republican. Please show me where I said he was not.
2. Please notice that I almost never refer to political parties. That is rather myopic and stifling, of course. Parties do not represent Leftism and Conservatism. The reality is that people of those persuasions usually gravitate to either.
3. I wrote that he was a Commie-Marxist-Socialist.
4. If you look at my posts, I presented a lot of information from Wiki. But I also presented direct quotes - with page numbers - from several books. I have done research in the past, so this is accurate and complete.

in your own words from the other day Wiki is no place to get reliable information.
I posted the link to the book that pretty much gives you a inside look at the man. all you did was post something that was written about him. thats not reliable at all

Wiki can be good. I simply do not want to respond to people who understand nothing about a subject and post "cut and pastes" from Wiki.
Notice that I included books. It appears that you are denying Rev Jones was what I said he was.
