It is. Sorry if you do not like it. Lenin had many murdered. In one case, he actually gave a general number of people to be executed in an area, for the sole reason of terror. He directed the cheka to execute (I forgot the number, but it was over 100) people: Find at least that many and execute them. This is the way of LEFTIST visionaries when they have power.

You completely distorted the actual facts, therefore what you wrote was not true - as always. I was not disputing what you wrote about Lenin, though. My father was there throughout that period of history, he was a captain in the Preobrazhensky Regiment. He left Russia in 1921 because he saw that Lenin was ruining the country and the people, that there was no hope for Russia.

The Left-wingers do not want to admit it, but non-GOVERNMENT unions have been in decline since the early 1950s! They present this as something new. The American public started turning against unions after WWII was over, and the decline stated a half century ago.
This is the reason that they are fighting to strengthen GOVERNMENT unions. It is the last stronghold.

The BIGGEST political campaign contributors are unions, by far. I mean when I looked, I was really shocked at how disproportionately they contribute.
Take a look-see:

You will see that of the top 18 donors, not a SINGLE ONE donates primarily to Republicans! 4 are mixed, leaving 14 that give to Democrats. So, of the top 18 that give more to one party or the other, 100% give to Dems! ONE HUNDRED PERCENT!
Of those 14, ELEVEN (11) are UNIONS!
Or we could round it off to the top 20: 15 to Democrats and 12 are UNION. ONE to Republican.

What you don't see in the background in those videos somewhere, are
the shop lifters! I worked a few Black Fridays.
You find boxes, food cans on the floor everywhere.
It's the best time for shop lifters.
I didin't mind people stealing food, many workers don't care about that.
Just stealing things they don't need pisses us off!
Look up: Leviticus 19:9 Leviticus 19:10 Ruth 2:2. It's ok to go get your food.
The Walmart workers are to just cut the plastic on the Pallet & run.
The sales they have many do not know that there might be only 50 phones etc on sale with 500 people coming in for them! There was a fight over a laptop, at the Walmart I worked at.
I ran to help. This guy grabbed the laptop out of a girls hands & some moms had him cornered. It was a standoff. He handed the laptop to me I gave it to the mom & told him to run to the front of the store, get out of here fast.
He walked slow! The moms went to the next aisle over & beat him up.
The funny thing was the music that was on the system, Joy to the world, or something like that! "Punch, punch, Joy to the world, punch, punch!"
As a Walmart worker it was funny at the time, we see a lot of
"people of Walmart" types there! - 6 months ago

In that case , my response will be irrelevant to you . because it is not what you want it to be or expect and you will not HEAR it . It is as if i do not really exist for you , i am a figment of your imagination . It depends on HOW they did it , of course . IF you invented an artificial heart or computer then , its good . It is evil to gain by the spread of misery and oppression . Do you think YOU improve people's lives ? Do you make things of quality and beauty ? Do you hear and not hurt ? Here , i think your intent is to hurt . I bear you pity and no ill will , but i do not trust this is an honest question , though it was honestly answered .

I do not know if you are a Left-winger. You sound like one.
The idea is to see if you believe in the 0-sum idea: If someone gains economically, does it mean that someone lost? The basic concept, overall. What do you think of that? It was a concept shown in the Movie "Wall Street" in which the rich Gecko, when questioned by the younger protege about his ethics in getting rich, simply says, "Well, kid, there are winners and losers.," meaning that in business transactions and such, one gets richer at the cost of someone losing.
This is not an essential characteristic of Left-wingers, but many believe this.
{ It is evil to gain by the spread of misery and oppression . Do you think YOU improve people's lives ?}
It is important to point out evil and destructive elements. Left-wingerism is destructive of America.

Left-wingers will not deal with human realities and human nature. They will make pretenses at being "above it all," and it is impossible to have an honest discussion with Left-wingers. Absolutely impossible.
I will write something, and if you are a Leftist, you will not read it in the context of human beings, but from the point of view of some chimerical absolutist Liberal tripe.
The truth is quite simple, and I am speaking to human being, not to myself. I know if you are a Left-winger you will twist and distort, so let's see if you are or not. The truth is that if the government offers something for nothing, many, many people will take advantage of it.
It is that simple. If there are deductions from taxes, for instance, almost all people who qualify for them will take them, simply to pay less in taxes. To deny that is to deny human nature. In the same way, we must limit the possibilities for human being and companies to get money for doing nothing. It is that simple. Look at how it is that people (or companies) can reduce their financial obligations. Don't look to change human nature or rely on people and companies doing the "honorable" thing when profits or savings are concerned.
I hope that answers your assertion. I hope you are not a Left-winger distorter. I certainly hope so.

My initial response was supposed to be intentionally ironic. "...having the most employees who need government help to pay for their basic needs." The capitalistic intent is to have people who are free to live on their own without help. Contrast Henry Ford, who many consider to a leftist" with Walmart for a moment. Ford thought he should pay his employees enough to buy the product they were producing. As a result his product was a great success and his employees were self-sufficient. On the other side there is Walmart, that does not pay their employees enough to be self-sufficient, and hence they need to beg the government for help.
Kind of ironic, no? So, how do we get people to go against human nature (I believe that is what you call it) and actually pay employees enough to purchase the products they build? instead of as little as possible? Currently, we have this complex system of taxation which we might agree to be less than perfect.
If you can answer this question then we might begin having a real honest discussion.

In that case, Walmart took advantage of the government benefits for people with low incomes. First step is to do away with those benefits except for children who are abandoned, the severely handicapped and the insane. Then Walmart would not consider that.
Next is to stop with the attacks on the culture. Let states decide issues. There were "blue Sunday" laws in which stores had to be closed, depending on how states and communities decided, but radical types claimed 'discrimination."
Next, let the spirit of Christianity be free. I am an atheist, so I would have no personal stake in the revival of the spirit, but it would do wonders for the country if respect were given instead of anger and fear.
We cannot improve these things via government regulations and laws. It is the culture. Get the bureaucrats and the ACLU out of the schools; give authority back to the administrators and teachers, and stop the due process completely in the schools. Don't apply due process procedures for children. Trust the teachers and administrators. Let the schools celebrate Christmas openly, singing songs of Christmas cheer that include "Away in the Manger."

This might work if people didn't experience a lot of hunger and cold. Can you think of another first step?
Let the schools celebrate Christmas openly, singing songs of Christmas cheer that include "Away in the Manger."
If we did this children would want to be singing songs of every holiday of every faith. Some nations try this and the results - well everyone will have their opinion of what is working. You might find children singing "Away in the Manger" in Indonesia, for example, because Christianity is one of their national religions. That solution only works so well (and only so poorly, I might add).
I would consider making church and school more accessible to one another. A child might want to sing religious songs with children of the same faith after school if church were more accessible.

"This might work if people didn't experience a lot of hunger and cold. Can you think of another first step?"
In many ways, it is best not to take actions - change things - during a time of crisis. In a time of less intense economic pressure, it would be the best first step to cut the people off from welfare and all forms of subsidies, then they will simply stick with jobs and work more.
"If we did this children would want to be singing songs of every holiday of every faith."
I doubt it. Most schools are overwhelmingly made up of Christians. Most of our country is Christian. If a school is mostly made up of Jews, it would be fine to celebrate Passover, for example. There are schools in Hawaii that have Buddhist celebrations.
The main idea is to use common sense. And to COMPLETELY IGNORE the squeaky wheel. We listened too much to the atheists. For instance, in the Castroville, Texas complaint that one student said a 24 second prayer at graduation, it was taken to the federal courts and the Supreme Court. All from one or two atheists. They should have been ignored. It is absurd to even listen to them. Remember, I say this as an atheist.
The Christmas holiday is a national holiday, a cultural event. There is a spirit about it. It is only one thing. But we have to resist this codification of our society - having a society run on cold contracts and rules - and this is only one small step in the larger culture war.

"I would consider making church and school more accessible to one another. A child might want to sing religious songs with children of the same faith after school if church were more accessible."
No, this should be carried on in the schools, as well as - if the school decides - hanging the 10 Commandments and allowing a moment of silence. Heck, I think that there should be a non-denominational prayer in the schools, with students not having to participate, of course.

Advocating for less taxes has nothing to do with greed. In fact, advocating for higher taxes is pure greed. It means one wants more from the government without doing anything to earn it, and that "more" comes from confiscating the property of strangers that one has labeled as "evil" people who do not deserve what they have. That makes stealing by Left-wingers quite convenient. In fact, Left-wingers even redefine their theft as "moral," lying to themselves that having the government redistribute wealth is somehow "moral," when true morality can only be had via voluntary choice.

What question? You asked a lot of personal and presumptuous questions. Here they are: " Do you think YOU improve people's lives ? Do you make things of quality and beauty ? Do you hear and not hurt ? "
These are presumptuous. If I answer "no," which you and other LEFT-WINGERS would like, then you can start the puerile attacks. If I answer "yes," you will claim I am lying.
It appears that your views are quite narrow. And all of these threads are personalized by you, when they are not, in fact, about you - or about me.
I will not demean myself by answering such vapid quesitons or explain my personal life to you, of course.

I suppose you mean well . I thank you for it . A few decades ago , i might have agreed with you . Now , I respectfully disagree . If people ignore those who spreads lies , cruel sentiments and right wing propaganda it only serves to allow them to think they are the majority and speaking for those others , when in fact , the individual speaks only for a very select few of the population . Such people are simply appendages of the Fox "news" propaganda system , which in No way a majority reflection of the general public . As could be evidenced by the last presidential election . When delusions are that sick and threaten to poison all , they need to be substantially countered .
