Do I think ? Most definitely........'mystical knowledge is arising, and it's a pleasure
to foresee, how the spirit wants the loving....... and that's new currency ! '

    • The change will do you good
      I always knew it would
Sometimes I'm thinking that I love you
But I know it's only lust
      Your kiss so sweet
      Your sweat so sour

      Your kiss so sweet
      Your sweat so sour
Sometimes I'm thinking that I love you
But I know it's only lust
      The sins of the flesh
      Are simply sins of lust
      Sweat's running down your back
      Sweat's running down your neck
      Heated couplings in the sun
      (Or is that untrue?)
      Colder couplings in the night
      (Never saw your body)
      Your kiss so sweet
      Your sweat so sour
Sometimes I'm thinking that I love you
But I know it's only lust
The change will do you good
      I always knew it would
You know the change will do you good
You know the change will do you good

      Damaged goods
      Send them back
      I can't work
      I can't achieve
      Send me back
      Open the till
      Give me the change
You said would do me good
      Refund the cost
You said you're cheap but you're too much
      Your kiss so sweet
      Your sweat so sour
Sometimes I'm thinking that I love you
But I know it's only lust
The change will do you good
      I always knew it would
You know the change will do you good
You know the change will do you good

      I'm kissing you goodbye
      (Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, goodbye)
      I'm kissing you goodbye
      (Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye)
      I'm kissing you goodbye

One can just see in the white furred friends' eyes and from his expression that

I'll go over to my friend's house (lives in neighborhood) with a scanner that
works and photo of my Cairo and get it done tomorrow. It's 2:20 a.m. here and
my eyes are blurring, so gotta tear myself off this consarnit contraption and
      catch some z-z-z's.

Dug throu 100's of 'loose' photos as well as pix in albums. Naturally, can't
find Cairo, but will post a photo of Tonto, an all white, DSH, as a kitten. In
the photo he looks just like one of those Hallmark card model kitties.
      Heartbreaker.

Yes, I'll be doing that today, and who knows, I may still find Cairo's perfect shot digital of
him with his orange shaped heart marking on his furred back.

Tonto's photoo is right here and ready to go, as well as Skye < ( recently passed to
Rainbow Bridge, impromtu, when an inoperable tumor was discovered in her stomach.
I say 'inoperable' as I was advised that due to her advanced age, the vet said he
'wouldn't put her through all that and end up with a dead cat anyway.'

My scanner's been on the fritz for over a year and, albeit I tried to get it repaired, I
could never seem to scrape up the cash for it. Thus, the friend I have who will lend
me his scanner, rebuilds PC's and has an extra scanner that works ! His surprisingly
charitable nature will give me a new rebuilt PC with a workable scanner !

I was touched, people are unpredictable as is life, and this guy's nature is proof
that there are still good people out in this, at times, wretched society.

Here's Tonto, the Hallmark card looking kitty. I had given him to Laurie the first Christmas
after her parole. He's a ham, posin' all innocent lookin. Laurie named him.........being
the radical she was, she originally called him, "Tonto Jesus" because she got him for
      Christmas.

But my mom frowned upon that one, so Tonto it stayed.

As time wore on, Laurie ended up giving Tonto back to me because she was too busy
making up for lost time -- some odd 14 years incarcerated......that includes Canada
because she had escaped Taycheedah and wuz apprehended, stayed in Canadian jails
until her trial, and was extradited back to the U.S.

Tonto joined by little herd in Oak Creek, WI, at the time he was returned to me and
enjoyed life in a mobile home park.

Here's Skye....... half Siamese.......she had deep blue eyes like the ocean, but on this
digital, it appears she has 'holes' for eyes. HAHA

She's crouching down by a wooden mallet and I used to say, " You are the judge kitty
of Alley Cat Allies. Any stupid people who don't abide by rescuing and helping brethren
in the allies, will get a bonk on the head from you." lol

Skye was one smart feline. I could take a walk and she'd accompany me without a
leash. I swear she understood Englaise'. If she got distracted and wanted to wander
into an interesting looking yard as we walked down allies in the area, I tell her, "No,
you don' t wanna go on that yard......it has a dog."

She'd back away and return to my side to continue our walk.

I miss her terribly, but know she's around and I'll see her again.

We're all connected -- people and animals.

She is beautiful too. Looks like she has a little calico in her with her coloring. I've never been real fond of pure Siamese cats myself as they are so mean, so being only half Siamese probably improved her disposition. I very much prefer mix-breeds to pure-breeds because with pure breed they can be so inbred that they have health and disposition problems. Besides there enough dogs and cats in shelters that need rescue and love to serve everyone in the world these days.

Skye was acquired thru some old hippies that had an unspayed mom hangin'
around their property. They'd feed and water her, but when she became preggo,
the dimbulbs would let her have the kittens in their garage. OH yay, how charitble
      of them.
She was all cream color as kitten, but as she few,her little colored patches started
growing in. She had one striped stocking, which means there was some kinda
      tabby mixed in there.

Siamese - where did u get the idea that they're 'so mean?' They are very '
vocal, and one must like cats that talk a lot if considering a Siamese, either
one found from the 'street', a shelter, a hideous pro breeders, or whatever.

I had a friend who had two pure-bred Siamese cats that were so mean. If you sat on her couch they would hide under it and attack your ankles. So, it may just be my experience with Siamese, that has given me that idea. Also, remember in 'The Lady and The Tramp' those Siamese cats were snobs and viscious.

As per your question, why yes. Lawrencia, now passed away, was my

      'pickle in the middle.' lol

Yes, it must be. The first 8 weeks of a kitten's life, and what it experienced, no matter
what breed, even DSH, determines how they will react as they become
      'socialized.'

Lady & the Tramp? This was fantasy. This was an animated feature based on
a script and story. U can't take away from that that all Siamese cats are snobby
      and 'catty.' LOL

I guess you did, I'd forgotten and only remembered Melanie since she and I are so alike according to you. I was the pickle of the three youngest in the family, as my older brother and sister were born before WWII and the rest of us were born after WWII with a seven year difference between my sister (the second child) and my other brother (the third child, who is a year older than me). My older brother married when I was 7 and I became and Aunt when I was 11 and my sister went to University when I was 10. So from 10 on there were only the three of us at home.

Oh, okey. And just like u could've been influenced when younger by viewing
that animated cartoon, it's just like with kittens.

Whatever they experience in the first 8 weeks of their life, can affect their
      personality later.

Now, of course, u weren't 8 weeks old when you saw Lady & the Tramp,
but kittens in human years are about the same age you were when you
      went to see that movie.

And you had a large family....... it was just us three sisters. Melanie who is 3 years
my senior and Lawrencia was a 10 years diff between her and myself.

Between me and before Laurie, my mom experienced a miscarriage, who'd
been male, six months into her pregnancy. I the 50's, preemies didn't have as
good a chance at surviving as they do now.
So I would've had a brother had it been later in the 20th century.

Same here, my mom had a miscarriage between my older sister and my brother who is just a year older than me. I always figure I was the accident because the rest of my brothers and sister are spaced out by a few years. My baby sister is 3-1/2 years younger than me. My older sister is 5 years younger than my older brother and 7 years older then my other brother. If my mom hadn't had the miscarriage I would have had another bother who was about 5 years older than me.

I agree about a miscarriage not being a happy event. I had two and ended up having to have my tubes tied to prevent another miscarriage. This really effects your hormones and is very hard on you emotionally. I would have loved to have had a boy, although I wouldn't trade my two daughters for anything.

My condolences on all this u tell me. It's the father's sperm that determines what
      gender the offspring will be.
One does not always need a 'token' son, but like my dad, he would've given
anything to see his miscarried boy, and maybe he did. We weren't told of such
things as children and he never talked about it.
But I feel that he loved his 3 daughters as best as any father could..... plus
treated my mom like a queen.

There are reasons for everything........ we are 'born into this'....... as Charles
Bukowski would say. Our siblings or children are pre-determined by a Higher

Sorry, you even said 'he' in your comment. I just immediately said she without thinking. I can understand you doing everything you can to keep your guy alive. People that don't have pets can not understand how much they means to us and that they are just like our children. My guys are doing fine. The vet told me last month that Jack is living on borrowed time as he is now 13 and big dogs have a shorter lifespan of around 10-11 years. But, except for his cataracts and arthritis, he's doing well. Knock on wood.

I said 'no biggie' to your saying Cairo's gender w/o thinking. Dohn worry gal.

The big 'ting is that, tak, responsible, loving peeps who have pets, will give or get
them the medical attention they need.......I mean, don't humans want/need that
      very type of thing?

I found from being around animals, knowing people who have domestics all
their life, or even briefly; their buds will stick around as long as possible with
their uncanny sense that they know LOVE.
Love can make anything possible. The big rule around here is 'no suffering'.

If the cat's/dog's time has come ( just as in humans) there shouldn't be any untold
suffering to try and keep them alive in a selfish sense. Of course, we'd rather
not let them go, but if their time is up........nothing we or anyone else try to do,
      will prolong it.

I hope u feel this way because I also believe we will see all our previous buds
that have crossed to the Rainbow Bridge one fine day, when our time in this
passage is up. What a joyful reunion then, hey? Ya-hey. lol

It is the hardest thing to do..... we know as their days number, and don't want to
know, so we don't think about it.

But you're right, it would be selfish to keep them longer than intended. The 'no
suffering' rule is wot I enforce here. Just as any human would not want to be
hooked up to life support systems, an animal friend bud needs to be told, 'it's
      okay to leave now.'
