If you ask, if a phone will be made as notebook which has two screens (dual screen) and can display two different programs simultaneously, the answer is probably now. Sharp has recently launched their new LCD Controller chip by LR388G9 code that allows a cell phone will have two screens. Somehow the thought of designing a mobile phone with two screens, but this chip makes it possible to run two screens with a resolution of 480 x 1024 pixels (Half-XGA) for each screen simultaneously. This chip is made to be used on some gadgets ranging from smart phones to eBook Reader. Besides displaying the second screen, this chip is also capable of producing a video output with a resolution of Full HD (1280p) for display on a TV or projector. This chip will sale to the manufacturer in September 2010 and hopefully no later than early 2011, we have been able to find a phone with two screens.
