Jurassic Park 4 will have dinosaurs carrying guns

"Universal Pictures has begun casting for Jurassic Park IV, which is set to start filming in Kauai, Hawaii later this year. Laura Dern confirmed she'll be returning as Dr. Ellie Sattler, though Sam Neill will not be returning. Curious why? Maybe it's because the plot of this one features the government training dinosaurs to carry weapons and use them for battle purposes. No, seriously.

This is what they came up with. It's like a practical joke that's gotten way out of hand. Like Universal Studios was having a pitch meeting and somebody jokingly said, "Let's give the dinosaurs guns." And somebody in charge took him seriously and approved it. Then it just kept going up the chain of command until BAM Jurassic Park IV was born. The only way the plot could get any more ridiculous is if the dinosaurs also talk and wear parachute pants."

    • come on people wake up sam neil did a good darn job of gettin out of it jp should not have GUNS oh my god its as bad as changing spider man into that vampire dude on twilight for part 4 come on loura dern you need off this bet to its a desgrace to jp and a desgrace to how much i loved it as a kid

    • this is bull. jurassic park was my childhood theme if you know what i mean. i would play it on game and outside but now hearing of this makes me sick. loura if you see this twoback out becouse this is a total disgrace to all jp fans in the world . i hope it does not make it. i thought from what i heard, jp dinosaurs would come back too san- deigo but as hybridical spcies such as ankyloranodon. sam u hade a good right to bak out . kudos to u man!

    • This is a very, very old script too. This was a plan way back where the government had genetically engineered Raptors to have larger brains and would be able to be team members in military battlesquad with humans. It sounds ridiculous and it is, but this is the direction hollywood is kind of taking. Now if Laura Dern and Sam Neil are coming back for it then I don't imagine that this would be the same script unless they did major rewrites to incorporate them.
