    • Walter Murch is one of the best, if not the best, editors. I love his work. The Conversation is one of my favorite films that the two of them worked on. Great use of sound.

    • Once a filmmaker runs out of people to say "no" to them, it's usually a bad sign.

      Look at Scorcese, Tarantino, or any of the Andersons. Good directors need certain budgetary and creative constraints to really get creative and do their best work.

    • I wondered the same thing. Apparently, it's based on a novella by Mircea Eliade. Check out the description at Amazon. Sounds like it could be a good.
