I thought King of Kong was great too! I'm surprised about that as well! I have yet to see Into the Wild but I heard Emile Hirsch lost 40 pounds for the role. It seemed that atleast he'd get a best actor nom.

Atonement for best picture.... because to me it is. I am surprised Keira Knightley wasn't nomianted as well as James McAvoy.

I hate to say but this years nominations are not only totally predictable BUT how in the HELL did INTO THE WILD get left out so much!! NO Best Picture nom? Ridiculous!
I'll still be watching...GO Atonement!

I'm really hoping "No Country" takes home the big one as I really enjoyed it and am partial to the Coen Brothers anyways and although I loved Ellen Page in "juno", I'm doubtful she'll take home best actress. Hopefully she will though! "Juno" was a comedy and it's a bit rare, atleast I think, for comedic roles to get attention but they've received 4 noms so I'm very hopeful. Hey, Jessica Lange did for "Tootsie"! Page has a chance!!

Any predictions? I haven't seen all the movies, but I really liked Juno, No Country For Old Men and American Gangster (which got fewer nominations than I expected).
