    • The movie is an overpowering experience, and I wanted to hear what Joe had to say about Kimberly. Small technical flaws will likely be jumped on by critics, but the film's message overrides any negative commentary. I see this film as an important statement about our society. As a soldier who did his time during the Berlin "Crisis" and was in Berlin when the Wall was erected, I hope all my compadres of that era see this film, not only to realize how lucky we were but how much the present generation is risking every minute. The Berlin Crisis was little more than a series of photo-ops for American celebrities and hustling politicians. The reality of Iraq is overpowering in this film.
