Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed
Ben Stein is premiering his documentary, Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed, which uncovers what many scholars have been facing in the teaching field. He interviews those professors and researchers who have been suppressed because of a belief in something called "Intelligent Design". ID "intelligent design", is an opponent of the popular theory of Darwinism. Because of these people who have argued for an option other than Darwinism, they are being told to keep quiet, and losing tenure jobs.

the big point of the movie, for me at least, is that theres no solid proof of the evolution THEORY and yet they are teaching it to our youth and destroying their faith in God, all because of a big GUESS. Im not saying all kids beleive in God, but for the ones who do, why ruin it for them? If they believe in something that gives them good moral grounding....whats the issue? anyways, point being that scientists are willing to admit that possibly ALIENS planted life on this earth, but they absolutely refuse to accept the slightest possibility of a God, so the real issue is they REFUSE God. Aren't they supposed to explore all possibilities? meh.

um, i guess we are unclear. All i am saying is that ben stein is interviewing scientists who believe that nature gives us evidence for intelligent design and the repercussions they experience due to the claims they make. nothing more. I am definitely not siding with the theory of intelligent design, its just a post.

that's not the premise at all. the real premise is that there is no actual proof of intelligent design. the fact that the individual "scientists" that bring this about have no foundation for their "theories" to stand. the scientific community has come a looked at these "theories" and thrown them out because whenever they come up with an i dont know, they say intelligent design! but that's not solving a problem, that's finding an easy way out, or intentional looking for a an alternate solution that doesnt fit.
scientific american has a great podcast with mark mathis, the associate producer of this film, who tells them to look past the scientific process to make intelligent design scientific!!!
we also have a movie made by an economist (no science there), who wrote for nixon, and still writes for the republican party despite the show of them being complete bastards, and unabashedly makes a movie claiming objectiveness.
