'Dark Knight' sets box office record-$155.34 million

Warner Bros. executive says the Batman sequel "The Dark Knight" has taken in $155.34 million to top "Spider-Man 3" for best opening weekend ever at the box office.

    • I hate it when a movie gets all hyped up just to let us down, in this case the hype really works against it because many people find themselves too cool to admit that a movie lived up to the hype. This did. One of the best movies ever made, hands down. Ledger was electrifying. Im going to see it again tonight, then maybe again tomorrow night, its a monumental film and Ledger's performance was truly iconic, even the music blew me away, not to mention the camera work..
