A tale of alter-ego, blogging and geek love.
Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog is a 43-minute tragicomic musical produced exclusively for internet distribution. It tells the story of aspiring super-villain Dr. Horrible (Neil Patrick Harris) who wants to join the Evil League of Evil and win the girl of his dreams.
Dr. Horrible clashes with Captain Hammer, his nemesis (Nathan Fillion) over Penny (the oh-so lovely Felicia Day), their mutual love interest. The movie was written by writer/director Joss Whedon, his brothers Zack Whedon (a television writer), Jed Whedon (a composer), and Jed's fiancée, actress Maurissa Tancharoen. The writing team penned the musical during the WGA writers' strike. The idea was to create something small and inexpensive, yet professionally done, in a way that would circumvent the issues that were being protested during the strike.

This is a new classic...
Best line -
Captain Hammer: "And these (holds up fists) - are not the hammer."Here's hoping Joss' new show "Dollhouse" lives up to the Whedon-standard of excellence... what am I saying, of course it will...
