This entire story is hilarious so I had to come back to it.

Even if Diddy got his way this would still be a token move and being such it would actually do little if anything to thwart racism. At best a black James Bond would throw a little more exposure toward black men in general which on the surface sounds like a noble venture. J-Jammer, i don't think you understand, i get your point and the logic would seem flawless, if you were'nt talking about a majority fictional character being played by a minority actor.

Will Smith Made Hancock, a black super man style character. He knew there could never be a black superman. But he created a black superman styled character, one who could fly, invulnerable but with a bad attitude and flaws.

The point was and is, is that whilst Superman could never be played by a Black actor but, young black children all over the world get to see a black super hero. Now that psychology IS really, really important to young children growing up.

Saying that James Bond can't be played by a black actor is like saying, black British actors aren't intelligent, suave, sophisticated and what ever other adjectives are linked to who the Bond persona is.

In the beginning of his blog/audition footage, I was actually pleased with his message about Kings and him giving respect and dedicating this to the 'Kings' that have come before him.
