UK dance music visionary, Bestival creator and regular Radio 1 DJ Rob da bank is offering a cool Christmas alternative for BBC Four viewers watching the 1933 classic King Kong - a reworked modern soundtrack for the cult film.

Digging deep in his crates he's compiled a tracklisting that spans music from "glitchy electronica and classic rock ballads to the latest dubstep."

"Viewers are invited to tune in to Rob’s soundtrack by pressing the red button, when the film is aired on the 27th of December at 11.30pm."

I will be all over this like Donkey Kong!
