That is a bullshit price! You could build the a deathstar for free. All you have to do is build an (super)evil empire, rule Earth then the galaxy (one or two planets at a time), kill George Lucas (he might sue you) and take his money, lastly build a deathstar.

In today's failing economy, i realize the importance of investing carefully. Which is why I am pouring my life savings into a death star.

Actually, we should run it by the Pentagon, they like spending ginormous sums of money on ridiculous machines of war as it is anyways. We can promise to sign a bill stating the feds can have their war, we can have full use of the fully operation Death Star. But we might run the risk of a small rebel fleet, made of outer-rim farmers, coming to annihilate us in the name of some old religion or other.

What would be the cost be if we used an unlimited source of energy (sun?) ? I think it would be feasiable to start in our lifetime (next 40-50 years) if we could solve the energy issue... not sure?!?!?

Presumably you'd have a heck of a lot of office space available to rent out, so you could make your money back quite quickly I think.
