    • My prayers goes to her and her family. We all must remind yourselves daily that we are not physically invincible or eternal but we are spiritually eternal and there are so little time to do something good to others in this earth before we also make our transition to a place where there are no sorrows or pain but joy and freedom from the burdens of the physical flesh. The time is now to do our part and resolve our differences as we all going to go through the same door in the end of our physical lives. Do good!

    • This saddens me immensely. I wasn't sure why since I didn't know her. After much thought, I found out:

...she has an uncanny resemblance to my girlfriend. No wonder I took it so personally.

That set aside, it's terrible to think of what is going through the minds of her husband, children and surviving mother.

My thoughts are with them all.

Further, the cause of her death has encouraged me to buy a helmet for the next snowboarding season. You can never be too safe.

I liked your post. Some people say 'another death' but some of us feel their pain more.

I have 2 grown sons who go skiing and snowboarding every winter. Have even done so in Canada. We took them almost every Christmas as a family tradition. Now I think back and say wow...they took a lesson and off they went with their dad. I kept falling down and going no where (southern girl)
I will now call them and ask them for their childrens sake, put helmets for skiing on their to do list.

      Peace.

    • It's a shame she died- while taking lessons no less. It is an unfortunate reality that I hope Liam and his sons are getting through alright.
