Mel and Robyn were married since 1980 with 7 children. Robyn seeks spousal support and attorney fees as well as joint physical and legal custody of her 10 year old son Tom. Under Californian law, they'll split the $900m fortune Mel owns.
In a joint statement, Mel and Robyn says "Throughout our marriage and separation we have always strived to maintain the privacy and integrity of our family and will continue to do so."
