FAQ about Time travel while not being a brilliant film or epic film, I do think it sets out to do what it intended. There were never going to be Oscars on the cards but it is a funny, entertaining film about 3 wasters travelling in time.
Chris O Dowd and Dean Kelly in particular put on good performances as did Anna Faris of Scary movie fame. The storyline is as bizarre as you’d expect from a comedy time travel film, although most of the movie is shot in a pub. It was funny…but it never really made me laugh out loud. It reminded me a bit of a British Jay and Silent Bob…but just not as funny…or even a poor man’s Shaun of the dead.
Unless you’re an avid British comedy or time travel movie fan, I wouldn’t run to see it at the cinema, but I would say it’s defiantly worth a rent for a chilled, very easy watching Sunday movie. All in 6/10.
