SILENT HILL 2 Movie is Happening and It has a Director

A sequel to the horror adapted video game ‘Silent Hill’ looks like it is going to get made. Screenwriter Brett Easton Ellis who recently wrote the awful film ‘The Informers’ did an interview and during an interview he is asked if director Roger Avery is still attached to direct a film called ‘Glamorama’ Ellis reply’s with this:

“He’s going to be shooting Silent Hill 2. As far as ‘Glamorama’, it’s just very hard to get the money to make it.”

    • while I'm not a gamer, the first silent hill was very good, I liked the dark elements to it and that it was about a cursed town and a cursed people it reallt did have a what the fuck ending though. I'm not looking for happily ever after ending in a horror flick but did that parallel game?

    • The ending to the first game was essentially required. The audience outside of the video game crowd would have felt more than a little gypped if it ending as mysteriously as the games tend to.

      Still, let's hope the movie is at least as good as the first.

    • Man, they really shouldn't make another movie about silent hill. the video games weren't really that good. The movie was pretty decent up until the ending, which I thought was lame.
