Star Trek is real!

So for the release of the Star Trek movie, the big marketing kids behind the film used the concept of ‘alternate realities’ (ARG) to build hype around the film, something which given Trekkie's geekiness, obviously paid off.

This ARG has a ripened audience already to experience its multi-media levels -- what no doubt came a pleasant surprise to them is how the Trek universe has been brought into their everyday lives as a real life happening...

Pretty cool to see marketing brought bang up to date and really influencing its market
